Pokémon GO/Stardust and Candy

Stardust

Stardust, along with Candy, is required to Power Up Pokémon.

There are a number of ways to get Stardust, the amount varying significantly:

• Catching a Pokémon
• Hatching a Pokémon egg
• Collecting the reward for holding Gyms

Candy

Candy is used to Power Up and Evolve your Pokémon.

There are a number of ways to get Candy:

• Catch a Pokémon - 3 Candy
• Evolve a Pokémon - 1 Candy
• Transfer a Pokémon - 1 Candy
• Hatch a Pokémon egg - 5 to 32 Candy (varies with size)
• Walk with your buddy - 1 Candy
