When you first start the game you will need to select a kitten. You will have $100. You can also buy more kittens after starting the game, but you need to have at least $70 to be able to afford them.
Step 1: Select a breed[edit]
When you are in the selecting room, you will be able to see what kittens there are. There are over forty breeds so there are plenty to choose from. You can use the 
pad left and right to moove between kittens. Click on the question mark to find out what their personality is like. When you think you've found the kitten that suits you,select to buy it.

- Birman

- British Shorthair

Step 2: Customise your kitten[edit]
Choose from up to ten different coat colours for you kitten and choose the colour of its whiskers. Then choose wether it is male or female. Male kittens are bigger than females and they have a black collar, whereas females have red ones.
Step 3: Name your kitten[edit]
A keypad will appear on the screen and you can use either the stylus or the pad to move around the letters. If you use the pad then press 
to select a letter. When you have chosen a name for your kitten, select 'OK', and your kitten will come home with you.
