Return of the Obra Dinn is a 2018 puzzle game where the player has to figure out what happened to the crew of a lost ship.
The tools the player are supplied for this task is a book detailing everything on the ship and a magic pocket watch, the Memento Mortem, which allows observing the instant someone died as a 3d scene.
The game notably uses a two color palette, relying entirely on dithering for shading.
