Xavi (Q-Ball in Devil Kings) is a missionary who has traveled to Japan in order to convert its people to his religion of Xavism, looking to unify the country under his rule in the process. While he preaches about love, his means of conversion involve plenty of violence, beating down enemy armies in order to subject them to his teachings. Xavi is based on real-life missionary Saint Francis Xavier, who traveled to Japan from Spain in order to spread his teachings. Upon conversion, his followers destroyed Japanese temples and shrines, similar to Xavi's own violent methods (though Xavi's hypocrisy is played for comedic effect).
Like Mitsuhide Akechi and Yoshihiro Shimazu, Xavi is a character with slow movement speed, though his attacks can be surprisingly quick. The range given to him by his bazookas, as well as the wide area that his shots hit, also allows him some distance from bosses and crowds. His normal combo ends with a spin that can hit bosses and crowds alike, making it somewhat useful. Perhaps his easiest to use skill is his first, which has Xavi fire his bazookas simultaneously. His defensive fifth skill is similar to Mitsuhide's fifth skill, as angels protect him from the blows of enemies at the cost of his Basara gauge.
A helpful combo is a 
-string of four to seven hits, followed by one to three uses of the first skill. This should allow Xavi to build his Basara gauge up enough so that he can use his protective fifth skill, and repeat.
