  • Tilt Wii Remote left/right: Steer Sonic.
  • Tilt Wii Remote backward: Walk backwards.
  • 1 button: Slow down or stop.
  • 2 button: Jump. Hold to charge for higher and farther jumps.
    • 2 button in midair: Quickly land.
    • Thrust Wii Remote forward in midair: Air-dash forward, or perform the Homing Attack if an enemy is in range.
  • Up dpad: Speed Break.
  • Down dpad: Time Break.
