Enemy bases are first introduced in the story mission Fisk Hideout, which itself features the very first Fisk Hideout that must be completed to progress the story. Like all other enemy bases, it can be revisited if not all bonus objectives are satisfied, making a maximum of three Base Tokens available at each base (one for completion, and one for each of the two bonus objectives).
There are silver trophies for taking down all bases of each faction, and a bronze trophy for completing all bonus objectives in a base. The completion of bonus objectives rewards Spider-Man with more Base Tokens, allowing for more crafting opportunities. Below is a list of all bases split by faction, as well as their locations and bonus objectives.
Fisk Hideouts
Fisk Hideouts are the first Base Token opportunities available, and are a product of Wilson Fisk's strong grip on the city. Now that Fisk has been put away, these Hideouts are mere remnants of his power. Take them out to remove his influence on the city once and for all.
Location | Bonus Objectives | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|
Greenwich | Perform 10 Finishers | Web 5 enemies to walls | This hideout is the introductory enemy base, and must be completed as part of the story mission Fisk Hideout. While the second objective is entirely doable once the Impact Web is crafted, as instructed at the beginning of the mission, it is made even easier through the crafting of the Web Bomb. Likewise, the first objective is made possible with the purchase of the Chain Finisher skill, so a return visit to this base is recommended once Spider-Man is better prepared. |
Hell's Kitchen | Perform 3 Stealth Takedowns | Throw 10 objects | There are plenty of throwable objects available at this construction site, and plenty of Fisk thugs isolating themselves from each other, making these bonus objectives doable on the very first try. |
Upper West Side | Perform a 20 hit combo | Hit 3 enemies with scaffolding | For the first objective, you only need to dodge regularly and equip gadgets that will help in dealing with crowds. For the second objective, look around the construction site for scaffolding that Spider-Man can grab with his webs (in this particular case, the scaffolding can be found on the lower level). If enemies are nearby, the scaffolding will fall directly on top of them, hitting them to satisfy the objective. Try to lure three enemies into position before pulling it down on top of them, as there is only one opportunity to attempt this here. |
Harlem | Disarm 5 enemies | Perform 10 Air Launch attacks | The second objective is straightforward; hold to launch enemies into the air, and do this ten times to satisfy the objective. For the first, the Pistol and Baton Yank and Rifle, Shield, and Launcher Yank skills must be purchased, as only then can Spider-Man disarm his enemies of their weapons. |
Upper East Side | Perform 3 Perch Takedowns | Knock or throw 5 enemies off the building | Perch Takedowns are Stealth Takedowns that Spider-Man can perform without leaving his perch; press when an enemy below nears Spider-Man to have him perform the Perch Takedown, and don't alert any enemies until three enemies are taken down in this way to complete the first objective. For the second, simply lure enemies near the edge of the building and knock them off. This is made easier with the Impact Web. |
Financial District | Perform 10 Perfect Dodges | Stealth Takedown 3 Snipers | For the first objective, unlock the Perfect Dodge skill. Performing the Perfect Dodge requires pressing just as Spider-Man is about to be hit (for an indicator, his Spider Sense turns blue). Chances are, if you dodge often enough, you will complete this objective without having to try. The second objective is equally manageable, as the snipers here are isolated and make for easy Stealth Takedown targets. |
Demon Warehouses
The Demons are led by the mysterious Mister Negative, and make their presence known in the city following the departure of Fisk. The power vacuum resulting from Fisk's defeat has led to the establishment of Demon Warehouses across the city, and it's up to Spider-Man to take them down. Before entering the warehouses where they do business, you must defeat a group of enemies on the roof, then enter through a skylight.
Location | Bonus Objectives | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|
Hell's Kitchen | Perform 3 Stealth Takedowns | Web Throw 10 enemies | These objectives are straightforward. For the first, maintain your cover for only three Takedowns, and for the second, web up an enemy and then throw them (this doesn't necessarily have to be at other enemies, but it does help in dealing with crowds). |
Upper West Side | Use Trip Mine on 5 enemies | Perform 3 Off the Wall attacks | For the first objective, you may want to upgrade the Trip Mine, as you can also pursue the Hug It Out trophy (which requires you to bring two enemies together with Trip Mines, done by tossing a Trip Mine onto an enemy when another is near). For the second, dodge into the wall, then attack a nearby enemy with three times. |
Harlem | Perform 10 Finishers | Perform 10 Swing Kicks | For the first objective, have the Chain Finisher skill unlocked, and for the second, have the Swing Kick and Bunker Buster skills unlocked (the latter allows Swing Kicks to hit shielded enemies). Dodge regularly so that the Finisher gauge is not depleted through healing. |
Harlem | Electrify 10 enemies | Perform 10 Dodge Under moves | Another Warehouse with straightforward bonus objectives. The enemies do not have to be electrified at the same time, so having a decent Electric Web capacity should do the trick. As for the Dodge Under, it is as simple as beginning a combo with and dodging behind the enemy with , a move that should already be used regularly to combat shielded enemies. |
Chinatown | Perform a 35 hit combo | Perform 3 Stealth Takedowns | A 35 hit combo is no small feat, but doable with the right suit power, gadgets, and skills. The Stealth Takedowns, on the other hand, should pose no trouble. |
Prisoner Camps
Prisoner Camps are set up following the great prison outbreak in Out of the Frying Pan..., and each base has prisoners equipped with rockets and other surprisingly dangerous weaponry. Unlike Demon Warehouses, Prisoner Camps are out in the open, and must only be attacked to begin.
Location | Bonus Objectives | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|
Chinatown | Perform 10 Air Yanks | Perform 5 Stealth Takedowns | For the first objective, you must have the Air Yank skill unlocked. Simply jump or swing in the air, and then hold near enemies to bring them up into the air with you for an air combo. For the second objective, find some isolated gunmen on the edges of the rooftops. |
Financial District | Use Trip Mine on 5 enemies | Perform 5 aerial attacks | You can begin using the Trip Mine during the stealth phase of this camp, as it may help in webbing up an enemy in view of another enemy. You can also use it during the battle phase to web some enemies together or to the walls, taking them out with ease. To perform aerial attacks, simply launch an enemy into the air and then land five hits. These objectives should provide no trouble at all, though you may want to upgrade the Trip Mine beforehand. |
Hell's Kitchen | Perform 15 Perfect Dodges | Perform 15 Finishers | The first objective is easily doable with the Perfect Dodge skill, as there is plenty of gunfire to dodge here. For the second, make sure the Chain Finisher skill is unlocked. |
Harlem | Perform a 50 hit combo | Knock or throw 5 enemies off the building | For the second objective, lure enemies to the edges of the rooftops and shoot away with the Impact Web. The first objective is much trickier, so make sure to have gadgets that will stun big groups of enemies prepared (such as Web Bombs, Electric Webs, and Spider Drones) and a suit power such as Web Blossom or Spider-Bro. |
Sable Outposts
Sable Outposts only become opportunities for Base Tokens when Sable International become enemies of Spider-Man. The organization is led by Silver Sable, who has equipped her soldiers with offensive and protective gear of the highest quality. Make sure to have Electric Webs handy when dealing with these soldiers, as a regular combo will hardly affect them otherwise.
Location | Bonus Objectives | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|
Harlem | Perform 10 Swing Kicks | Stealth Takedown 3 RPG enemies | Start by taking out the snipers stationed on the rooftops of buildings surrounding the outpost, then zip to one of the floodlights to begin stealthily picking off the agents inside. Inevitably, three enemies equipped with RPGs will be among them, knocking off the first objective. For the second, use Electric Webs to electrify enemies before hitting them with Swing Kicks, so that the attack actually has an effect on them. |
Upper West Side | Disarm 5 enemies | Throw 5 Jetpack enemies during aerial combat | Knock over the towers outside the outpost by holding + , taking out the soldiers keeping watch inside. Make sure to take down any agents nearby, as their suspicions will be aroused by the sudden tumble. For the first objective, you should have the Pistol and Baton Yank and Rifle, Shield, and Launcher Yank skills unlocked. For the second, hold while fighting a Jetpack enemy in midair. This will cause Spider-Man to throw the enemy down to the ground. Repeat these actions five times to clear the objectives. |
Central Park | Yank Down 10 enemies | Perform 5 Stealth Takedowns | For the first objective, following an air launch, hold to knock the enemy back down to the ground rather than following them into the air. For the second, look for isolated enemies from the outposts floodlights, as these are high enough to keep Spider-Man out of view. |
Midtown | Perform a 65 hit combo | Electrify 10 enemies | For the second objective, the enemies do not have to be electrified simultaneously, so chances are you will complete it without having to try. The first is much more challenging, but Spider Drones and Spider-Bro (the suit power of the Stark Suit) should aid in stunning the enemies in a tight spot. |
