Spore/Cheats
Windows[edit]
These cheats are for the Windows version of Spore — Mac users have different cheats. Please be aware that this game records the cheats you activate and rewards you with a Joker badge. If you don't want the badge, don't cheat.
To activate these cheats press: ++ to open the console screen. Then type any of the following commands:

| stylefilter -none | Changes your view back to normal. |

| evoadvantage | Enter this cheat while starting a new game to start with one of your more evolved creatures |

| help (command) | Explains action and usage of a command. |
| styleFilter -oilPaint | Gives the game an oil painting effect |
| addDNA | Increase how much DNA you have to spend. |
| moreMoney | Increases your money in Civilization (2000) or Space (1,000,000) stages. |
| freedom | No complexity limit in any of the creators. Be wary of using this one, anything over the complexity limit cannot be used by others. |
| help | Lists all cheats and debug commands. |

| levels -unlock | On the Spore main menu, allows you to unlock every stage for new games, even if you haven't completed their prerequisite stages. |

| killallhints | Removes all hints from the game. |
| SetTime (h, m) | Sets time of day at the Avatar's position, and optionally a speed multiplier. |
| freeCam | Toggles free camera mode. |
| blocksmode | Turns creatures into their blocky representations |
| unlockSuperWeapons | Unlocks all superweapons for your Civilization type. |
| spaceCreate | Unlocks and recharges all creation tools in Space Mode. |
| styleFilter -filmNoir | View game in black & white |
Mac[edit]
These cheats are for the Mac version of Spore — Windows users have different cheats. It is unknown if Windows users can use Mac cheats or vice-versa. Note that the game will reward you for cheating with a Joker badge, so unless you want other players to know you cheat, you should refrain from using these cheats.
To activate these cheats press: ++ to open the console screen and type in any of the following commands:
