Map of the Shyrack cave

Valley of Dark Lords

The entrance from the Valley of Dark Lords is in the middle of the left side of the Shyrack cave. A half-eaten corpse is visible in the middle of the passage ahead:

Item(s) Received Half-Eaten Corpse This datapad appears to have belonged to a Sith Tuk'ata trainer: "I have released several of my best trained Tuk'ata into the caves to finally eradicate the Shyrack infestation. So far so good. My only concern is the eagerness the beasts have for the hunt. I must apply extra punishment to the Tuk'ata that ignore their masters, before they revert back to their predatory nature."

Sure enough, at the first junction ahead there are two Deadly Tuk'ata fighting four Shyracks: you receive experience even if they kill each other, but if you join in then Tuk'ata have Regeneration: 1 and Force Resistance 32, so they'll always resist Force powers unless you're level 11 or higher. There's also a ceramic jar and two Sith corpses on the left side of the junction.

The passage to the left continues along the top of the Shyrack cave, passing through a small cave containing three Deadly Tuk'ata before reaching a second junction: there's a ceramic jar just to the left as that passage continues to the top end of a chasm, while the passage to the right, linking to the middle passage, contains three more Deadly Tuk'ata fighting a Shyrack Wyrm over a ceramic jar and a Sith corpse.

The passage to the right of the first junction goes through the middle of the Shyrack cave, where you'll encounter a Shyrack before reaching a second junction: the passage to the left passes through a small cave containing three more Shyracks and a Shyrack Wyrm, with a Sith corpse by the pool on the top left side, and two ceramic jars just inside the cave in its top far corner.

Beyond this cave is a third junction occupied by three Shyrack Wyrms, with a ceramic jar just to the left inside the passage linking the middle and top, while that to the right continues to the middle of the path alongside the chasm.

The passage right of the second junction leads along the bottom of the Shyrack cave, where you'll encounter a Shyrack before passing through a small cave containing another Shyrack, with a ceramic jar just inside in the bottom corner, a Sith corpse by the pool on the bottom side, and another ceramic jar on the right side of the passage beyond, just before it reaches the bottom end of the chasm.

Experience Points (XP) Received:
  • ? Killed Shyrack (2)
Item(s) Received Ceramic Jar (2)

Item(s) Received Sith Corpse

All three passages lead to the path along the left side of this chasm, where a pair of Deadly Tuk'ata fight a pair of Shyrack Wyrms close to each.

Experience Points (XP) Received:
  • ? Killed Deadly Tuk'ata (6)
Experience Points (XP) Received:
  • ? Killed Shyrack Wyrm (6)

Secret Tomb

The only way to cross the chasm is a narrow bridge in the middle. When you reach the Sith corpse lying halfway across, three Sith assassins appear on the far side and four behind you: these assassins are dark side, so like all dark characters (Alignment 40 or less) in the Shyrack cave they're granted Saves: All +25 (light characters (Alignment 60 or more) are granted Saves: All -25).

Once across the bridge, there are two ceramic jars just to the left, and another two at the bottom end to the right. Two Hssiss guard the entrance to a tomb at the top end.

As you approach the entrance to the tomb, Kreia speaks:

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: The power I felt coming through the cave is just ahead.

If you don't have the strength to enter, you fall to your knees as you walk up to it:

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: As I told you before, you do not have the strength to enter this place - yet. You should return here later, when your power has grown.

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: [You lack the strength to enter the tomb ahead. To pass here you must be strongly aligned to either the light or dark side of the Force.] KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: [You lack the strength to enter the tomb ahead. To pass here you must gain more experience.]

Otherwise, or if you change your party leader to another character who has the required level and alignment:

KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: I believe you are strong enough to explore the tomb ahead. You will have to face the challenges of this tomb alone. Are you ready? KotORII Icon Kreia.png Kreia: Are you ready to enter the tomb?
KotORII Icon Dialog.png 1. I will go on alone. KotORII Icon Dialog.png 2. I'm not ready yet.
