KotORII Icon Dialog.png Workbench: Melee weapon upgrades are one of three types: grips, edges, and energy cells. Grips can affect accuracy, damage, and defense and often provide both benefits and penalties. Improved melee weapon edges can affect damage of both normal and critical hits and can also improve a weapon's critical threat range. Energy cells can only be used by powered melee weapons, such as vibroblades, and can increase damage, but often make the weapon less wieldy.

All edges, energy cells and grips can be created using a workbench with sufficient skill rank and components.
