  • It's a really popular game, so I hear, and one person who really wanted it said that everybody they knew had the game. I had to get mine Preowned because there were hardly any in the shop! --Melon247 (Dog's Life's No. 1 fan) 12:55, 31 July 2008 (CDT)
    • Well, I haven't heard anything online, and since I don't have any game magazine subscriptions at the moment I can't really contest how popular it is. I really don't understand the whole virtual pet genre craze... --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:11, 31 July 2008 (CDT)
    • Additionally, this game is called Hamsterz 2 in the UK, Hamsterz 2008 in AU, and Petz: Hamsterz 2 in the US. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:14, 31 July 2008 (CDT)

  • It's a very popular online sight (there always seems to be millions of users in the clubhouse) so there must be lots of people with webkinz toys --Melon247, The Dog's Life Expert 12:34, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

  • There are 800 categories that have been linked to yet don't exist. If 13 people do two a day for a month, we can knock the whole thing out. That's being conservative too, because lots of them don't actually need a category, they just need the link fixed. Let's eliminate some red links! - najzere 20:32, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
    • That is a lot. I'll help with this as time permits. Baejung92 (talk) 04:36, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
    • I'm voting no on this because it is a maintenance job. As such, it will probably not receive much focus beyond sysops and people already interested in cleanup. I think COTM should be reserved for individual games or game series. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:39, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
  • I'm going to remain undecided per NMH's statement above. COTM used to be about cleanup and creating policies and whatnot, but eventually merged into fleshing out guides. I do like the idea of this collab. though. Maybe we should create a collaboration under the StrategyWiki: Cleanup project. It could be a monthly or bi-monthly thing. There's plenty to do behind the scenes that it could be useful (the Petz thing for instance).--DukeRuckleyTalk | Contribs 21:47, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose. While it's nice to cleanup wanted categories, it's not something suitable for collaberation of the month. In this case, most entries on that list are usually tagged on one-or-two pages; and only two having 3/4 pages assigned to them. --Sigma 7 05:11, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Coming out this month and I'm guessing it will be very popular considering how well the other sims games sold. --Melon247 16:50, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
    • Wait... isn't this thing coming out in like June? Once it's out I'm definitely supporting it, because of the aforementioned popularity and whatnot, but I don't think we can make it a collab until release. Baejung92 (talk) 03:50, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
      • Think that was my mistake. I think it's coming out on 20th February in the US or something. Then it's coming out on 5th June in the UK. I didn't realise until after I'd put it here and I started playing Sims 2, because it has advert things underneath the 'play' button and it was advertising The Sims 3. --Melon247 08:56, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
        • It was coming out on Feb 20 but it got delayed. :( I think that this would be a great collab of the month for June. Sims2Guy 05:00, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

  • The guide seems to be doing fairly well, and the game is a fairly popular recent release. As a remake of a classic game, it is bound to be a guide that will see some use in the long term. --~Vizeroth~-- 06:54, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
