Each character is different from one another as they all have different attributes and movesets. However, all of them also share generic moves and the same special attack. They are all ranked according to their power, speed and jumping ability. For a more detailed list of moves, see the moves page.

Adam Hunter[edit]

Adam is the powerhouse character in Streets of Rage, who sacrifices speed but makes up for it with his supreme power and jumping ability. He is an excellent choice for starting players and a favorite for veterans. His moveset mostly contains jabs, uppercuts and kicks.

Axel Stone[edit]

Axel is the balanced character in Streets of Rage, who has a nice balance of speed and power but a poor jumping ability. He's a good choice for starting players and is a great secondary character for two-player games. His moveset is a balanced set of grapples, punches and kicks.

Blaze Fielding[edit]

Blaze is the weakest but most acrobatic character in Streets of Rage, who sacrifices power for supreme jumping ability and speed. She's not a good choice for starting players and is more geared for experienced players. Her moveset mostly contains quick attacks and grapples.
