Super C is a 1990 action shoot-'em-up for the Nintendo Entertainment System that serves as the sequel to Contra. Based on the 1988 arcade game Super Contra, it is commonly believed that the NES version was given the abbreviated name of "Super C" to avoid any allusion to the 1985 Iran-Contra scandal (the Japanese version for the Family Computer retained the full title).

Super C is not an exact adaptation of the arcade game, being more of an expanded version of the first NES game instead. The upgradable weapon feature from the arcade version is gone, but the Rapid Fire and Barrier power-ups that were gone in the arcade version are back, along with the Special. Like its arcade counterpart, Super C replaces the 3D stages from the original game with overhead stages instead, but unlike the arcade version, the Mega Shell power-up that can be used at anytime to kill all on-screen enemies is gone. There are eight stages in the game, including three new ones not in the arcade version, as well as several new bosses.

In Europe and Australia, Super C was released for the NES as Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces, replacing the original main characters with robotic counterparts.
