Why I moved the optional missions to Chapter 6[edit]

I had a look at it recently and I realized that there's some info that can be better placed with only one info deleted in chapter 2 about the hobo. I wanted to further balanced it so I can tell which is the main missions and which is the side missions. I however leave a few optional missions in there. I would've put for example: Greaser's Challenge to another spot because it's a challenge to claim the safehouse but I would leave it up to you. I hope I'm not wasting all my efforts on this. If I have more updates, it will be on this discussion page. Yours truly Johnnyauau2000 08:11, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

  • I've redone the side missions where it came from in Chapter 6. It's actually from my game guide so don't blame me for not referencing that. As long as you really play the game in different consoles, you can figure if anything else is missing. Yours truly Johnnyauau2000 11:37, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

IMO, this doesn't make sense to me. Having the side missions in the chapters where they become available makes much more sense than having them in the Endless Summer chapter. Minx 15:53, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, you can't be expected to do all missions in the open world, would you? Anyway, it will make no sense that the Endless Summers has nothing to offer. Who would thought that having an almost empty chapter is a great idea? I don't think so. Should politics get in the way than I wasted my efforts on this. For now, I'll just leave it on that. It might be a better idea to keep the missions in the chapters where they first appear and then link to the ones that are still available during the Endless Summer on that chapter’s page. The Greaser Challenge you mentioned is better placed in the correct chapter. Having that safe house unlocked during the chapter with the greasers helps the gameplay and really needs to be mentioned alongside the other missions for that chapter. To move it just to the Endless Summer is strange because this mission really helps the player complete the main story.

You appear to be taking my comments personally and I don’t know what you mean by “politics”. I was merely giving my opinion on your edits. I think your edits will confuse people. Minx 08:58, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Well if you want to revert it back, be my guest. I did waste my efforts on this. Since you don't have any better ideas than fine. You sure know that too well to complete the game that every little thing helps. If you want to push your agenda further that nothing is suppose to change than go ahead. I won't stop you. • Johnny, there are no agendas or politics. You have created a topic in a game's discussion page, so discussion is what naturally follows. Minx does have a better idea, which she clearly explained: moving side missions from the chapters where they appear may confuse the readers so they should be put back. By all means continue to explain your side with more reasons and/or backup, as this is what a discussion entails. But also remember that other editors are acting in good faith, just as you are, and are only giving their ideas for the betterment of the guide. - najzere 16:17, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Well what do you think? There's no compromise whatsoever. The only thing they care about is to be as self righteous as they possibly can. That's all they care about. Anyway, I'll act on their suggestions. I hope they are happy. Johnnyauau2000 00:18, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Please stick to the values of the options and don't make unfounded accusations. The suggestion is to be bold, but discussion beforehand is recommended. Please work together. -- Prod (Talk) 01:09, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
