Sequel?

I saw some news on IGN about Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I'm excited about this, but won't get my hopes up too high. IGN is not only known for game news and reviews, but also for spreading rumors about games everybody wants to see. An example would be Kid Icarus Wii. Still, that game didn't come with a trailer. This one did, and it looks pretty believable. Of course, that probably wouldn't be what the gameplay's actually like, but it's a work in progress. And after watching that trailer, I really want that game to exist. It's got Chris Redfield in it, with his original Resident Evil 5 design! I love Chris Redfield!! But not to get too into detail about the video game characters I like, IGN even announces that it will be released in late 2010/2011, and will also be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. So what do you think? Is it real, and should a guide be started for it, or should we wait to get some more real proof against the fact that it might be a myth? If you do have proof, please source. I want to see that I'm going to be able to kick around the Hulk with Chris Redfield. ^_^ --E-123Wario54The Temple of TalkFFI black mage (8-bit).gif 01:44, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

I read about this today too. It's on gametrailers and kotaku, and there is a MvC3 board on the Capcom forums, so it seems legit. :D — najzereT 04:23, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Sweet! =D I can't wait! Unless it's cancelled mid-development, which is what happened to the ill-fated Marvel Universe Online O_o I'll start a page for it, but nothing else, since I'm still not sure on who's going to be playable and if all characters will return from the other Marvel vs. Capcom games (though I sure am hoping Strider Hiryu and Jin Saotome will return).--E-123Wario54The Temple of TalkFFI black mage (8-bit).gif 19:20, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Okay, just be careful it doesn't turn into another StarCraft II where we had to change the whole thing around like five times. :P — najzereT 20:22, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
