Talk:Pokémon Black and White/Nuvema Town

From StrategyWiki, the video game walkthrough and strategy guide wiki

I see someone's already started a walkthrough for Black/White. I don't want to write over anyone's hard work, but it seems like there's a lot of unnecessary plot for it being the walkthrough. Is this standard?

Can you give an example? I haven't played the game, but it should only give as much story as is needed to explain the walkthrough. However, we do leave it to the author's discretion. -- Prod (Talk) 07:31, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
As a general answer to your question, scene-for-scene descriptions are discouraged (unless a game is not in English, and they are necessary for a player to understand the progress of the story). General descriptions, however, are encouraged, as they help the player anchor their progress in the game to the details in the walkthrough, so they know they are reading the right section.
