Restored Content Mod[edit]

So I'm going to presume the Restored Content Mod information is not going to be included? Cause at least it actually brought improvements to this classic masterpiece. GundamJedi91 (talk) 21:31, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

If it's widely used, that can be covered here, just create a new subpage for it. -- Prod (talk) 13:26, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Restored Content Mod isn't available for Xbox, so I plan to complete the guide without it first (although that'll probably still take years). My understanding is that content is restored throughout the game to varying degrees: in areas with minimal restored content it might be possible to just add that to the relevant Walkthrough page if properly identified, but in areas with much more significant restored content that wouldn't be advisable.
I'd consider adding restored content to the relevant talk pages (for example, adding Atton's duel with Darth Sion in the Trayus Academy to Talk:Trayus Academy) and add a Restored Content Mod sub-section to the Appendices, with sub-pages for new areas like the Military Base Sub-Level (HK Factory) on Telos, and possibly for existing areas with significant restored content.
However, I'm not going to do any of this myself any time soon, if ever (by the time I complete both KotOR games and their guides, I may be sick of them). Onderduiker (talk) 19:20, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
It sounds like it could be covered more like an "expansion" than just a mod. I would suggest against talk pages, since it's real content. You could use something like {{sidebar}} when there are small impacts throughout the guide, and maybe a few pages like an appending for major features. -- Prod (talk) 20:07, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Four years on, at the end of June I completed the walkthrough for the base game (completion stage 3) and I plan to make this guide comprehensive (completion stage 4) for the base game by the end of this year, then do likewise with the Restored Content Mod next year.

On the off chance anyone wants to start sooner, there are links to that RCM page, the Military Base Sub-Level and HK Manufacturing Plant pages in the Table of Contents. Remaining restored content ranges from single lines of dialog to whole page sections, so to distinguish it from existing content I'd suggest creating a template ({{KotORII/RCM}}?) that does something like this:

Restored Content
<Insert restored content here>

Juma Juice[edit]

On Nar Shadaa I am trying to get the juma juice from the bartender but I can’t so how get the hounds to sleep…. Plus I got the information about the juice on a walkthrough because none of my people must be high enough to use any of the stealth stuff I have to listen to the thugs in the flophouse…… —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jedi7281 (talkcontribs) 21:33, 16 April 2022‎.

You cannot get juma juice from the bartender in the Entertainment Promenade's cantina until you've used Stealth to overhear the two thugs plotting in the flophouse on the Docks. Even if you don't have a stealth field generator, you should be able to use Kreia (her Force Camouflage power allows her to use Stealth without a generator, and she starts with five points in Stealth).
