So, hello everyone. I just wanted to know who is working here, and to just give a hand in any way I can. If no one answers I'll just start adding new parts to the walkthrough, and updating them as much as I can. Talk to you later.

Um, oh. Yeah. I'm notoriously bad at finishing guides I start, so you're doing just fine. :) I've rearranged some things (the page was getting long) but I'm not sure on whether the between-dungeon sections should be at the end of one dungeon's page, at the beginning of the next, or completely separate (as they are in the BS Zelda: Kodai no Sekiban guide). Thanks :). I think the in between dungeon parts should be completely separate, but with more descriptive names that those used in the BS Zelda: Kodai no Sekiban guide, as I have been trying to do. Also, I am not very knowlegdeable about editing wikis, so creating new pages, adding pictures and other stuff beside text will have to wait until I learn how to :P.

Map scale test. Please examine and respond.[edit]

View this test in whatever way you normally size your browser, since that it critical. I have two versions of the same map, and I will include the same text next to it. One is a 1:2 scale, and the other is 1:3 scale. The pros and cons of each should be obvious, and at the same time, unfortunately equal. Bigger = most detail, but crowded text. Smaller = less detail, but text fits along side better. Just looking for a general opinion about which way to go from anyone who cares. And remember, that you won't be seeing just one of these maps per dungeon. You may be seeing one of these maps per floor of each dungeon.

This is a map of the first floor of Castle Hyrule. This image is here as part of a test to determine how small a map can be scaled and still provide useful information. It is also a test to determine what influence the size of the image has over the ajoining text. If an image is too big, it will squish the text. If an image is too small, it will be too difficult to make out the contents of the map. Please examine the layout of these two images, and decide which one you prefer. Thank you very much.

1:3 looks best and fits the page best for an 800x600 resolution. Hope that helps. Oh, but yeah, the image probably won't be very helpful if you want to add symbols like keys, enemies, fairies, etc. It might be hard to see them. What if you upload a highres image and then scale it down on the page. That's true, I could upload 1:2 ratio and just display it at 1:3. Or even thumb it, but if it's thumbed, you definitely won't be able to see key items unless I specify the thumb size. Thanks NMH. Procyon (Talk) 15:35, 9 July 2007 (CDT)

800x600 compatability[edit]

The sanctuary/points of interest section looks bad because the title sanctuary can't fit on the line beside the edit box, so they are overlapped. Otherwise it's ok. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 17:22, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
