Cleanup

What exactly needs cleaning up on this page?Sims2Guy 01:52, 1 October 2007 (CDT)

If you compare the page to other ToCs, it's overly long and all in one column; the ToC should be concise, and split into multiple columns if it's that long. --DrBob Needcat icon.png0005.svg 11:04, 1 October 2007 (CDT)
All the information from different expansions also needs to be split apart. For examples, look at the Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction guides. Only one ToC needs to be set up, and if you are unclear about anything you can leave me a message either here or on my talk page. -- Prod (Talk) 19:15, 1 October 2007 (CDT)
Does that mean that I should put seperate expansion packs in their own column or should I start articles for each expansion pack?Sims2Guy 19:47, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
For the moment, rearranging the toc is enough. Ideally the content from different expansions will be on different pages. If you can tell me which parts go with which games, I can help out with rearranging the guide. -- Prod (Talk) 20:13, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
The pages under the expansion pack headings all go with that expansion pack. They are already grouped together. If you're wondering about Bon Voyage, there aren't any articles under that heading because I don't have that expansion pack yet. I don't know what topics need to be covered with it yet.Sims2Guy 20:41, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
Perfect. I'll try and do a bit of cleanup to this stuff in the next few days. -- Prod (Talk) 20:46, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
Right, just make sure you don't get rid of the headings I've already placed under the expansion pack headings.Sims2Guy 21:01, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
Ok, all the page moves are done. If the current pages have info spanning multiple expansions, they might need to be cleaned up. The top part of the toc also needs a bit of rearranging to match the standard layout. Check out the guide and the Diablo II/Table of Contents for some examples of how to set up the top part of the ToC. -- Prod (Talk) 23:02, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
Thanks for all that. Is there any way to get rid of the walkthrough link. The Sims 2 really doesn't have a right way to play it.Sims2Guy 01:07, 3 October 2007 (CDT)
Glad I can help :). The Walkthrough link is standard and must be there. It doesn't necessarily have to go step by step through what you do to win, but it can go over a standard day or something (or something similar, I only played for about 20 minutes and killed my sim). -- Prod (Talk) 08:50, 3 October 2007 (CDT)
Does this page still need cleanup?Sims2Guy 00:29, 5 December 2007 (CST)
I've just made some changes, and I think it's OK actually. Due to the large size of the ToC, it may be nice to stick a small image in the bottom-left of the page, just to spice things up a bit. --DrBob (talk) 01:02, 5 December 2007 (CST)
What kind of image do you think should go there?Sims2Guy 01:38, 14 January 2008 (CST)
Maybe just an image of a sim looking happy. Various level 4 guides have such images. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, for example. Just something which isn't intrusive, but adds a bit of colour. --DrBob (talk) 11:38, 14 January 2008 (CST)
What about this image I just made?

The only problems I see are that the right shoulder doesn't really show up and you get that hairstyle in The Sims 2: Mansion and Garden stuff or something like that. --Melon247 14:20, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Art Deco or something else

I'm mainly aiming this question at Sims2Guy, but if you have Mansion and Garden stuff do you know what that new icon that comes up in build mode? The one inbetween rooves and miscellanius. I just called it Art Deco because that was the thing that sprang to mind. If you know, change it, or if you don't I'll play Sims 2 again and try to remember. --Melon247, The Dog's Life Expert 17:56, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
