This template will take an ID for a system or country (see list below) and return an appropriate icon, if one is available. This template enables icons to easily be added for systems or countries as they become available.
Adding IDs[edit]
- If you want to add a system to this list, please go to {{syscat}} and follow the instructions there.
- If you want to add a country to this list, make sure to set the default size correctly. Once you're done, please update Template:Icon/Countries.
Note that all cases in the switch should be in lowercase.
Usage[edit]
Normal usage; the first parameter specifies the system ID:
{{icon|gc}}
The second parameter (optional) allows the maximum width/height of the icon to be specified in px (the default is 25px):
{{icon|ds|40}}
The third parameter (optional) allows the icon to be floated left or right (the default is neither [no floating]):
{{icon|xsx|40|left}}
IDs[edit]
Here's a list of the currently-available system IDs. If you want an ID for a new system to be added (or for an icon to be added for an ID), please talk to a sysop. If an ID already has an icon assigned, it's displayed to the right of the ID below.
