Template:Thank you/Documentation

A thank-you template to use to thank people for amazing contributions (or other feats).

Usage

{{subst:thank you|reason|image alt text|img=image name}}

• 1st parameter: This is the text of the thank you.
• 2nd parameter (optional): This sets the alternate text of the image (what will be shown when you hover over it).
• img (optional): This named parameter sets the image to use with the thank you. Default is the Super Mario Bros. 3 cover.
• imgsize (optional): This named parameter changes the size of the image (default is 80px). Specify a different size by including the width in pixels, followed by "px" (e.g. imgsize=50px).
• dude (optional): This named parameter is for when you don't want to hug another dude. It inserts "Cheers" instead.

Images

The following images are good for using with the img parameter (remember not to include "File:"):

Any file name can be used, but these are examples of images that still look good when resized (high resolution images work best).
