This chapter occurs from the perspective of Julia in the Theatrical Cut and Alex in the Curator's Cut.
Julia[edit]
Swim through the wreckage and examine the corpse. The item held by the corpse depends on previous events in the story; if Alex proposed and Julia accepted, it will be holding a ring, and if he didn't, it will be holding the same locket seen earlier. Regardless, after the scene, Julia can either urge Alex to stop drowning his doppelganger or encourage him to keep going. While telling him to stop is the kinder choice, neither choice has a large impact on the rest of the story.
Alex[edit]
Alex's perspective begins with a QTE, though it is recommended that none of the prompted buttons are pressed, as they have no impact on the story either way. Alex's supposed attacker will then dive into the water to save Julia himself, though Alex will attempt to drown him either way. Let the timer on the prompts run out; even if Alex does drown him successfully, Alex and Julia will be pursued. Their chase continues in Revenge, though the next chapter is Glamor Girl.
