Marandus is one of the ten Dunmer strongholds littered about Vvardenfell. It is located near lake Nabia and is populated with Dunmer.

- Southwest of lake Nabia.
- Northeast of Arvel Plantation.
- Northwest of Suran.
Since it lies within the Ashlands, the storms from the mountain also consume the outside of the stronghold.
