This battle with Dead Hand is exactly the same as it was in the Bottom of the Well mini-dungeon, but now you have an advantage: the Lens of Truth. If you use it, you will see a very obvious dark shadow on the ground. That signifies where Dead Hand is hiding. Go to the hand farthest from that point, and get captured by it. Then, quickly struggle to break free, then attack Dead Hand when he lowers his face. You can only get in one hit, so make it a jump attack.
