The Spirit Train, received from Anjean at the beginning of the game, can be customised with a variety of different train parts. All of these parts can be bought at Linebeck's Trading Post in exchange for a certain amount of treasure. After you buy a train car from Linebeck, you can fit it there. Alfonzo in Outset/Aboda Village can fit any cars you own later. The different engines have their own whistles; i.e. the sound changes with the engine. The cars you have fitted to your train also affect your train's health: the basic Spirit Train has four hearts; an incomplete set from the below list has five hearts; a complete set from below (except the Spirit Train itself) has six hearts; the complete Golden Train has eight hearts.
