The Sims/Cheats

To cheat in The Sims, you will need to first bring up the cheat screen. You can do so by pressing Shift + Ctrl + C. You can enter multiple cheat commands at once by putting a semi-colon (";") between cheats, and you can repeat the cheat by putting in a semi-colon and an exclamation mark ("!").

• klapaucius: Adds 1000 to your funds. This works only for versions before v1.1.
• rosebud: Adds 1000 to your funds. This works only for versions after v1.1.
• move_objects [on|off]: Allows locked objects (such as the postbox) to be moveable during buy mode.
• map_edit [on|off]: Allows you to edit the entire map.
