Hot tubs are very expensive but also very satisfying, able to fill many needs at once, including Hygiene, Fun, Comfort, Environment, and Social.

Four Sims can use a hot tub at a time, and only teens or older can use them. Pregnant Sims are unable to use hot tubs.

Sims with high Outgoing personality can "skinny dip" in hot tubs.

Adult or older Sims can WooHoo and Try for Baby in hot tubs, but not when there are other Sims in the tub. A special cinematic can be triggered with this interaction.

Whilst in a hot tub, unless the hot tub is at maximum capacity (four Sims), Sims can shift positions using the Move interaction.

Hot tubs can break, requiring them to be repaired, increasing Mechanical skill.
