The Snowman and the Snowdog is an action game that was released by Channel Four Television on iOS, on December 9, 2012, for the lead-up to their film of the same name; as the name suggests, it is the sequel to the original game of The Snowman, which was released twenty-nine years earlier. The Snowman is also the protagonist of this game (as opposed to the Boy who flies alongside him).

The Snowman and Snowdog's journey to the North Pole begins in Brighton (which is where the Boy from the original film lived!); they must collect as many snowflakes as they can (the player may also tap them), to prevent their journey from ending early, and avoid obstacles such as telephone boxes, skips, trees, roadworks, and vehicles (lest they crash into them). Players can "spend" snowflakes to continue if they fail, although the first one's free - however, if they have less than 100 snowflakes by the time it happens again, they shall not be able to continue and must start the game all over again.

The game also has several "achievements" similar to those of Xbox Live Arcade, and the player will receive more snowflakes for completing each one; if they should get a game-over they shall also be taken to the "gift shop" (and be given 100 extra snowflakes to get themselves started the first time), where they can buy new clothes for the Snowman, and various other items (including tickets, which they will need to restart from locations they have reached before, but they will get given three to get themselves started the first time). In 2014, four new locations were also added onto the game - San Francisco, Japan, China, and Australia (although in the last country, it does not snow at Christmas).
