Tokyo Wars is a versus shooter arcade game that was released by Namco in 1995; it runs upon that company's System 22 hardware and it allows up to eight people take part in it simultaneously when a maximum of either two four-player cabinets, four two-player cabinets or eight one-player cabinets are linked together. The players have to use a steering wheel (that has a pair of firing buttons on it) along with two pedals (one forward, the other reverse) and a view-change button to take control of a tank in either the "Green Forces" or "White Forces" - and when this game was new, each four-player cabinet purchased came with a Tournament Kit that included T-shirts and posters to enhance its uniqueness.
