Country selection

When you begin Olympic Mode, you are asked to select which country you wish to represent. Note that the country you select will have no effect on the gameplay or the ability of the athletes which you control. It only effects the name of the athlete which is shown to be competing before the event begins. You may choose from among the following countries:

• U.S.A.
• U.S.S.R.
• W. Germany
• U.K.
• France

• Korea
• China
• Canada
• Kenya
• Japan

Events

Over the course of the game, you will play through three events per day. You must qualify in all three events for that day in order to proceed to the next day, or to the ending of the game. The events are played through in the following order:
