Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is an action-adventure game with platforming and puzzle-solving elements.

Uncharted is a mostly linear experience, separated into 22 "Chapters". Each chapter has a set beginning and ending, although it will not always be clear how to progress. The game has an autosave feature, which activates once you reach certain checkpoints.

Combat[edit]

Much of the game's combat is comprised of third-person shooting. You can hold up to two guns at a time: one single-handed, the other double-handed.

When you take damage, red splats will appear on the perimeter of the screen, with higher damage being indicated by more blood. As your health drops, the screen's color will fade: at critical levels, the screen will be completely gray, and Drake's heartbeat can be heard.

Platforming[edit]

There will almost always be something to climb or jump across.

Puzzle Solving[edit]

Treasure Hunting[edit]

While not a requirement for game progression, there are treasures littered throughout the game for you to find. There are a total of 61 treasures in total to find.
