I am the original CowHacker. You will see old "supercharge your wands" messages for COTW around.

I briefly went Ubuntu to play Castle Of The Winds, however I discovered Oracle VM which runs XP very well, and enables my beloved XVI32 to run. No I didn't write it, but it does do the hacking easier. So I am back.

When I get time, I'll post more hacks.

Rick, the programmer for COTW, had many things discontinued. in some cases I have unearthed them. In other cases they cause GPFs, like the 4 denominations above Platinum in currency.

Food is an unearthed item!. All layouts are unconfirmed and alteration may result in program crashes. Food could have a item code of 11 and only 1 record format (11s). We will never know. Books & scrolls have the same record lengths as food.
