Welcome to StrategyWiki!

Hello Bong! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 18:37, 31 August 2007 (CDT)

World of Pirates

Sorry for incorrectly labelling World of Pirates as web-based, and thank you for correcting it (but in future remember to adjust the categories in-line with the infobox!). Are you sure it has a native Linux client, though? I looked briefly on the site, and I could only find installers for Windows. We don't label games which run under WINE as being Linux games. --DrBob Needcat icon.png0005.svg 17:04, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Yes, I'm new to wikis and see what you mean about the categories now. I had only found references in the WoP forum to people running the game under wine. I will remove Linux from the category and infobox. Thanks for the cleanup and help --Bong 19:13, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
If there's anything else you want to know about, just ask on my talk page. :-) --DrBob Needcat icon.png0005.svg 19:59, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

4players

The page you created about 4players.de does not fit within StrategyWiki's scope. I went ahead and deleted the page. If you feel that I am wrong about this, please leave a note on my talk page and we'll work it out. Thanks and happy editing.--DukeRuckleyTalk | Contribs 16:11, 31 January 2008 (CST)

If they published a game or something, then they do deserve a place as a category. Based on the content in the page, I was under the assumption that they were just a magazine company. In any case, if I'm wrong, just let me know (send me a link, or I'll just check out the website later) and I'll restore the page. I'll move it to a category and keep the redirect in place. Sorry if I was wrong to begin with.--DukeRuckleyTalk | Contribs 21:07, 31 January 2008 (CST)
Sorry about that Bong. They were the creators of World of Pirates like you said. The page has been moved to a category, Category:4players.de. My apologies.--DukeRuckleyTalk | Contribs 21:17, 31 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for proving us wrong! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:24, 31 January 2008 (CST)

World of Pirates front page

If there's a story or "setting" that can be described beyond features of the game, please add it to the front page under a section such as ==Story== --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:46, 1 February 2008 (CST)

Image uploading

Hi, can you add the guide-specific category to your image uploads? For example: [[Category:theHunter images]] for theHunter images. Also, try and use the most descriptive category tags, as there are more specific ones than Artwork, which is pretty vague. I made some changes to your recent gun & ammo pics you just uploaded, and you can look at them for reference. Thanks, - najzereT 17:37, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I'll change the rest and anything new will be tagged accordingly. Thanks! Bong 17:44, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
