Welcome messages

Please don't use the Welcome template on new users in bulk. The template is meant to welcome users that have signed up for the wiki and contributed, rather than being used in a robotic fashion on those who have signed up for an account. --Sigma 7 17:16, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

NO. If I see you welcoming any new users, you will be banned for one day for every user that you welcome. When you have made significant contributions to the site and have become a full member of the community, then we will allow you to welcome new users. I don't care how many other wikis you belong to, you are new to this wiki, and are therefore not eligible to welcome other new users at this time. We neither need nor want screendumps from guides. Any files displaying scans from a guide would be deleted due to copyright violation. You're free to use the guides as a source of information, but how you express that information (i.e. your writing and display styles) should be uniquely your own. Contributing here is very simple: just read the StrategyWiki guide and use the guidelines found therein to add any information you may know about a game in the appropriate places. - najzere^T 07:36, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

I'd prefer it if you tell me what I'm doing wrong before you ban me so I know what to stop doing. Also, I can't see how I am misinterpreting the staff or making a bad impression on other users. As to why I am going so quickly is because I only just discovered this site. I don't really care if you understand why I'm telling you to do something. I simply expect you to follow the rules, or leave the site. It's that simple.
