I commented on my Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All TOC reorganization by crediting Procyon for design. I meant influence from the TOC of the previous game. If I wasn't supposed to credit someone on my editing comments, or mention them at all, I apologize and it won't happen again. MarioFan1993 11:39, 11 November 2008 (CDT)

Credit is always appreciated, and that always belongs in the history. -- Prod (Talk) 07:04, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Ok thanks Prod MarioFan1993 8:00am 12 November 2008

Phoenix Wright[edit]

Help! MarioFan1993 10:14, 11 November 2008 (CDT)

Should be better now. Procyon (Talk) 16:32, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
OK thanks. MarioFan1993 10:39, 11 November 2008 (CDT)

Congrats on finishing the guide! From a cursory glance, it looks great :). Keep up the good work. -- Prod (Talk) 06:57, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much, though I will make some changes to make the guide easier to read, and much more promising than it already was (It was named most promised of the month once :D), and hopefully make it Featured. Afterwords, I'll be working on Justice for All next. Can somebody load up Trials and Tribulations for me? if so, thx! (yes I may be planning to do the whole series.) MarioFan1993 08:10, 12 November 2008 (CDT)

Help place a cover for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations -- MarioFan1993 1:58, 15 November 2008 (CDT)

Done. All you needed to do was click the red link in the infobox (where the box artwork should've been) and upload an image of the box artwork on the page which appeared. Keep up the good work! --DrBob (talk) 07:22, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

All I need to know is how to upload an image (Sorry if I hadn't ask this earlier DX). -- MarioFan1993 05:10, 17 November 2008 (UTC+8)

Perhaps the guide page on images and uploading would help? :-) --DrBob (talk) 17:59, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
To be honest, I'm not really that good with computers, so I'm stumped. If anyone would like to post/link to a video or step by step instructions of how to upload an image, it'll be great. I'm using Windows Vista just in case you want to know. -- MarioFan1993 4:30pm, 22 November 2008
Here's a little tutorial for you. Sorry about the lame graphics, I'm not much of an artist:
  1. Save your image to a folder on your computer with a meaningful name. Step 1
  2. Go to the file upload page by clicking the "Upload file" button on the top left of every page.
  3. Click the "Browse" button or click in the text box where it says "Source filename:" Step 2-3
  4. Navigate through your folders back to where you placed the image. Either double click the image file, or click it once and press the "Open" button. Step 4
  5. You will see the path to the file and then just the name of image with its extension. You can modify the image name in the "Destination filename:" box if it's not already named properly on your hard drive.
  6. Lastly, fill out the "Summary:" text box with a description of the image and appropriate category tags. Step 5-6
  7. Now you have a proper image: Pw3_logo.png
  8. ????
  9. PROFIT
Hope that helps. - najzere 23:11, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

It does! Thanks a lot Naj :D! (8 and 9 WTF?) -- MarioFan1993 3:25pm, 22 November 2008 (UTC+8)

Finally, I'm done with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All! And only a couple of months! Just in time for New Year (okay maybe early for New Years, but who cares!). I would like someone to Photoshop mugshots of Engarde's true self and Mia's younger self for the next game for me? (I'd do it myself, but I don't know how to use Photoshop) (Remember, I'm a noob) -- MarioFan1993 9:10pm, 27 December 2008 (UTC+8)

Holy crap, I actually did the third game in just two weeks! Any comments!? I'll start Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney by noon! Then maybe I should take a break once I'm done. -- MarioFan1993 10:41 AM, 11 January 2009 (UTC+8)

Congrats on finishing the Trials and Tribulations guide! I was watching it grow (albeit a week after) and it looks great :). -- Prod (Talk) 19:07, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the comment (3 -- MarioFan1993 5:00pm, 17 January 2009 (UTC+8)
Congrats on another one finished :) You're really ripping through these!! -- Prod (Talk) 06:39, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Just a few more things and I'll be done for good, though I would appreciate it if someone did clean-up and spell-check for me. And I know I should have asked this a long time ago (or rather a few months ago), but I'd also appreciate it if someone made a Psyche-Lock Template. -- MarioFan1993 14:50, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
What would a Psyche-Lock template look like and what would be in it? - najzere 16:43, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Like I guess: File:MS Design.jpg Do you know a better one? (and how to delete this). Sorry, I'm not much of an artist. (and designer) -- MarioFan1993 00:48, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
I put together a quick conversion of the existing Testimony template here - is this the sort of thing you were looking for? I changed the colors to be closer to the darker ones in the existing testimony template, but they can be made lighter fairly easily. You can see one of them in place here --aniki21 09:38, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Meh, that'll do. Thanks Ani. -- MarioFan1993 13:22, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Uploading images[edit]

Make sure you put category tags on all the images you upload. I went ahead and tagged your recent uploads for you, but in the future, please add [[Category:CategoryName]] in the summary field. You can find a list of useful image categories here and you can see the categories I used here as an example. Thanks, - najzere 00:09, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Hey I see you added a category to your recent image uploads - thanks! I saw you tried to use Locations as a category, so here is a helpful link to all of our image categories. I added the Screenshots category to your last batch for you. Keep up the good work with the Phoenix Wright guides! - najzere 06:10, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney[edit]

Hey MarioFan, I'm sure you've noticed that I've been going through the first Ace Attorney guide doing copyedit and providing consistency between the pages. A couple of the changes I've made have been addressed on my talk page. My goal is to nominate the guide for featured status, but before I do so I just wanted to get some of the basic grammar, spelling and styling issues out of the way. I hope you can give some input on the process, since you are the major contributor to the guide. If you'd like, you can give your opinion of any of the changes I've made or suggestions for improvement of the guide on the guide talk page. Once it gets into the nomination process a lot of people will be looking it over, so the more we do now the smoother that part will go. - najzereT 15:34, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I had, thx. Though I know I should have said this long ago, but I think an Evidence List article should be made. - MarioFan1993 4:30 PT, 8 April 2009

Phoenix Wright nomination[edit]

Hello, the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney guide has been nominated for Featured Status. As one of the main contributors, your opinion would be very welcome! - najzereT 04:59, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Apollo Justice[edit]

Hey, whenever you get around to splitting the guide pages up, just undo my undo on the Table of Contents. I think we should keep a working one up until then. Thanks, - najzereT 18:46, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney terminology[edit]

You've changed "Courtroom" to "Trial" on the Getting Started page, but "Courtroom" is used throughout the guide. Are you planning on changing every instance of it? - najzereT 10:35, 23 June 2009 (UTC) Yes, unless you oppose my intention. - User:MarioFan1993(Talk) 15:53, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

No, that's fine, it's just that as a featured guide I'd like to make sure it remains free of inconsistencies. Thanks for continuing to work on it. :) - najzereT 16:07, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Make sure you adhere to the layout guidelines when making changes to any guide, and especially a featured article. Specifically, don't start a page with a heading and use sentence case in headings. If you're planning on making lots of changes to a featured article, you should really discuss it on the guide's talk page first. The community has already agreed that the guide exemplifies SW standards, and the further it deviates from what everyone approved, the less weight that determination holds. Splitting the fifth case's pages up is a good example of something that should have been discussed beforehand. At any rate, just make sure you're keeping the guide up to the standard of a featured article. Thanks, - najzereT 17:35, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Preload buttons[edit]

Here's what the buttons look like.

Hi, please use the preload buttons located above the edit text box when creating a new page. These buttons will insert the needed templates and formatting for you, which helps keep uniformity across the wiki. — najzereT 16:15, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
