Welcome to StrategyWiki!

Hello Ramza66! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or ask a sysop, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! — WarioTalk 01:14, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

Formatting

Hi Ramza66, thanks so much for all of the excellent contributions you have been making, they're very much appreciated. I noticed that you were relying on <br> tags a lot to format your guides. In most cases, you can usually just put a blank line between paragraphs like so:

and you'll get enough space between the paragraphs to make your intention clear. In the case where you really want to force the next bit of text to start below a screenshot or illustration, you can also use our spacer template: {{-}} which is a clear-all break. Please let us know if you have any questions, or if there's anything we can help you with. Procyon 14:20, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Alternate approach to item icons

Hi Ramza66. The following is just a suggestion, you're free to continue doing the in-line item icons the way you started this morning. What I typically do is upload a fairly enlarged version of a sprite (usually 4x) to display on an item page, and then size the image down in the text. For example, typing [[File:File:Kid Icarus Heart Large.png]] produces Kid Icarus Heart Large.png. However, if I want to shrink it down to make it an in-line icon, I can type [[File:Kid Icarus Heart Large.png|16x16px]] to get Kid Icarus Heart Large.png from the same file, so that you don't need to upload two different versions of the same image. Sometimes you have to play with those numbers. When you use the i x j px parameter, you're saying you want the image no more than i pixels wide and j pixels high. Anyway, if this helps, great, and if not, no worries. I know we don't yet have any item images for Super Metroid (except apparently the Morph Ball), so this is just something to think about before you proceed. Procyon 13:31, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi Procyon. When I cropped the sprites, they ended up close to or exactly at 16x16px anyway. That's why I wanted to use the icons like that like how it is with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Ramza66 (talk) 20:48, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Neutral point of view

Hey Ramza, thanks for all the NPOV cleanup. I wasn't sure if you knew the official stance we take on this, which is wp:Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view (skim the article if you never have before). Thanks a lot! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 05:44, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
