Welcome to StrategyWiki!

Hello Tom Haws! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or visit the Discord server to chat. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the staff lounge as well. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! — Prod (talk) 13:05, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Easier editing

The Show preview button (right next to the Save page button) lets you see how your changes will look before saving the page. You can use Show preview as many times as you like until you get the page how you want it. You can also edit the whole page at one time, as opposed to by section, by clicking the Edit tab at the top of the page. Hopefully these little shortcuts will make it easier for you to get the desired result when you're editing, and save you a little time. Thanks for working on the wiki! — Prod (talk) 17:28, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

Thanks. I hope I am not doing anything wrong. I edit a lot. I do use preview, and I like section editing a lot. But in the end I create a long history chain. :-D Tom Haws (talk) 17:34, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
The thing to realize is that admins have to patrol every edit that takes place on the site. Last night I went through 18 of your edits to the First Spring page, and now that I've logged back in I see 22 more since last night. I understand working on a guide as you play, so it's cool if there are a handful of substantial edits. But when there are a bunch of micro edits a few minutes apart, which changes like "a few" to "two, or "to" to "toward", it does get a little irritating. If you do your proof reading before you save, you can cut down on those kinds of things. Procyon 13:39, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
Sorry about that. I will back off. And maybe I can use a text editor. :-) Tom Haws (talk) 14:46, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
