X-Blades/The Ruins II (evening)

As before, there will be a Yellow Crystal waiting at the end of the hall. Head for it and the entrances to the next halls will become blocked by dark magic forcefields. Continue forward and a group of Phantoms and Pangolin Warriors will appear. Take these out to remove the forcefields. Go break the Yellow Crystal and go around the room and bust up all the vases and sarcophagi for souls. Now the player can either go left out into the courtyard or go right into next hall. If the choice is left, head left and enter the circular courtyard and approach the Yellow Crystal in the center. The entrance will become blocked by another forcefield and a group of Phantoms, Pangos, and Pangolin Warriors will appear. Take them out and the forcefield will disappear. Destroy the Yellow Crystal, then go around busting up the statues, sarcophagi, vases and collecting the Soul Diamonds. Be careful, as some of these sarcophagi will contain a Phantom. When a Phantom appears, just use the pistols to take it out. Then head back to the main hall and head for the hall on the right.

At a glance, the exit being blocked by forcefield can be seen. Enter the hall through the main hall entrance and the entrance to the room on the right will become blocked by another forcefield. A group of Phantoms and Pangos will appear. Take them out and the two forcefields will disappear. Collect the Soul Diamonds and head for the room on the right. Take the path turning left, ignoring the alley on the right, and head for the room outside where the exit will be blocked by a forcefield. When arriving at the exit, the entrance will become blocked by another forcefield. A group of Phantoms and Pangolin Warriors will appear. After a few monster are killed, Pangos will join in. Take them all out to remove the forcefield and complete the level.

Collect the remaining Soul Diamonds and bust up the two cat statues. Then jump up on the pillar on the left the collect a Ruby Artifact piece. If the other two pieces are in possession, they will unlock Ayumi's "Airstrike Upgrade Level 3". Now, the player can either exit in this room to go to "The Stone Alley (evening)" or go back to the previous hall and exit to "The Great Rift (evening)". If the Ayumi plays her cards right, she can walk away from this area with over 2,000,000 souls.

If returning from "The Great Rift (evening)", just head right into the room outside and take the exit to "The Stone Alley (evening)" or stay and re-battle all the monsters and re-break up the pottery and sarcophagi for more souls.
