All of the codes in Aero the Acro-Bat play a confirmation noise after being correctly entered.

Extra continues[edit]

From the title screen you can enter one of the following (only one of them may be entered, and it cannot be repeated):

  • To get 2 extra continues (for a total of five), press X ButtonY ButtonB ButtonA ButtonX ButtonA ButtonB ButtonY ButtonUp DpadL Button.
  • To receive 6 extra continues (for a total of nine), press X ButtonY ButtonB ButtonA ButtonX ButtonA ButtonB ButtonY ButtonUp DpadR Button.

Level skipping[edit]

At the start menu, press Down DpadA ButtonDown DpadY ButtonDown DpadA ButtonDown DpadY Button (DADYDADY), then Start Button to begin the game. Press Start Button to pause the game, then press Up DpadX ButtonDown DpadB ButtonLeft DpadY ButtonRight DpadA ButtonL ButtonR Button. Now whenever you want to skip to the next level, pause the game and press Select Button.

Level Select[edit]

At the end of a level, hold R Button until the point tally is completed. Instead of loading the next level, it will take you to the Level Select menu. To reach this menu quickly, enter the level skipping codes first. The Level Select menu contains two options by default: the zone and the stage. You can change which zone and which stage you want to warp to by pressing Left Dpad or Right Dpad. Press Start Button to confirm your selection.

Additional options[edit]

There are additional codes that can be entered while on the Level Select menu; these must be toggled on and off through this menu, but to display the fields that can be toggled, you must first put in the following code: (to display extra options) L ButtonR ButtonX ButtonB ButtonLeft DpadUp DpadRight DpadDown DpadY ButtonA Button. Three new lines will appear: normal life, normal stars, and collision on. These cannot be changed until the following codes are entered:

  • To disable collisions with enemies (Aero can no longer touch enemies, stars can be used to kill enemies, and deadly objects will still kill Aero): Down DpadA ButtonY ButtonR ButtonY ButtonB ButtonUp DpadL ButtonY ButtonA Button.
  • For unlimited stars (the number at the top of the screen will not be affected): A ButtonY ButtonL ButtonUp DpadDown DpadR ButtonA ButtonY ButtonRight DpadLeft Dpad.
  • To enable infinite lives (the Level Select menu reads "Infinite Life" which is incorrect): press Up DpadDown DpadUp DpadDown DpadLeft DpadRight DpadR ButtonL ButtonY ButtonA Button.
