Stage 20[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 20.png

Once your two chosen ships have stopped moving forward, a pair of ghostly eyes will fly into view from the right side of the screen as the twelve Chairs, three Tables, three Vases and singular Wardrobe rise into the air; they shall then start flying around above you while shooting a hail of fireballs down at you. Once you have fired one shot at each of them to kill them, ten more Chairs, two more Wardrobes, a fourth Vase and two more Tables shall materialize upon the left and right sides of the screen, and fly across it while shooting another hail of fireballs down at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them a lot of additional Chairs, Tables, Vases and Wardrobes will materialize at the top of the screen, and fly down towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of these, to kill them, your two chosen ships will start moving forward, as four Type 33 Invaders (which also serve as UFOs in this world) materialize on the left and right sides of the screen then start flying around up above you while firing a hail of bullets down at you; once you have fired a shot at each of them, to kill them, four Type 34 Invaders (which will also serve as shields on the next stage) will materialize on the left and right sides of the screen and start flying around above you while firing another hail of bullets down at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them four more Type 33 Invaders will materialize at the top of the screen and start flying around above you while firing a third hail of bullets down at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, four more Type 34 Invaders will materialize at the top of the screen, then start flying around above you while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you. Once you fire a shot at each of these, to kill them, your two chosen ships will stop moving forward, as the text "STAGE 21" appears on the screen.

Stage 21[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 21.png

Once your two chosen ships have stopped moving forward, four Type 34 Invaders will appear above you to serve as shields (but shall also occasionally fire three bullets up into the air, which will rain down on top of you); eight Type 35 Invaders, eight Type 36 Invaders, eight Type 37 Invaders, and eight Type 38 Invaders will then fly into view, from the left side of the screen, then adopt a horizontally-moving formation as they descend towards the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, eight more Type 35 Invaders and eight Type 39 Invaders will fly down into view from the top of the screen then join the formation - and once you fire a shot at each of these to kill them, the text "STAGE 22" will appear on the screen as the remaining Type 34 Invaders disappear (if you kill all four, four more will replace them, so you can never escape the wrath of the bullets they fire into the air as they rain down).

Stage 22[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 22.png

Once the text of "STAGE 22" has disappeared from the screen four more Type 34 Invaders shall appear above you to serve as shields (but shall, again, also occasionally fire three bullets into the air, which shall rain down, on top of you); twelve Type 36 Invaders, eleven Type 37 Invaders and nine Type 38 Invaders will then fly down into view from the top of the screen, as both halves of the formation jump up then rotate 90 degrees (clockwise for the left, and anticlockwise for the right) before coming down again as they descend towards the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, your two chosen ships will start moving forward ,as six Type 40 Invaders materialize in the centre of the screen and fly down towards you while firing bullets down at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of these to kill them, twenty-four Type 35 Invaders will materialize in the centre of the screen and start flying around up above you (while shooting a hail of fireballs down at you). Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, your two chosen ships will stop moving forward, as the text "STAGE 23" appears on the screen (there are no shields there).

Stage 23[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 23.png

Once the text "STAGE 23" has disappeared from the screen, the six doors on the left and right sides of the screen will open up, as six groups of five Type 41 Invaders emerge from them, and run up towards the top of the screen, then run to the right (for the ones on the left side), and the left (for the ones on the right side), before running down towards you while firing a hail of fireballs down at you; once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, the text "STAGE 24" will appear on the screen. Again, there is no Type 34 Invader-shields for you to watch out for bullets from in this stage.

Stage 24[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 24.png

Once the text of "STAGE 24" has disappeared from the screen, the first, second, third, and fourth doors on the left and right sides of the screen will open up as four groups of two Type 41 Invaders emerge from them and run down towards you while shooting a hail of fireballs down at you; once you have fired out a shot at each of these to kill them, the third, fourth, fifth and sixth doors on the left and right sides of the screen will open up as four more groups of two more Type 41 Invaders emerge from them and run down towards you while shooting a second hail of fireballs down at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, the first, second, third and fourth doors on the left and right sides of the screen will open up again, as four more groups of three more Type 41 Invaders emerge from them then run down towards you while shooting a third hail of fireballs down at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, they will split into two. Once you have fired a shot at each of these, to kill them, your two chosen ships will start moving forward as the text "BONUS STAGE" appears on the screen; this is the penultimate bonus stage of the game.

Stage 25 (Bonus Stage)[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 25.png

Seven Type 38 Invaders, twelve Type 39 Invaders and six Type 40 Invaders will fly into view from the right side of the screen in a square while rotating anticlockwise; once you have fired off a shot at each of them to kill them, eight more Type 38 Invaders, a thirteenth Type 39 Invader and sixteen more Type 40 Invaders will fly into view from the left side of the screen in a square, while rotating clockwise. Once you have fired a shot at each of these to kill them, ten more Type 38 Invaders, ten more Type 39 Invaders, and five more Type 40 Invaders will fly into view from the right side of the screen in a square while rotating anticlockwise - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, nine more Type 38 Invaders, four more Type 39 Invaders and twelve more Type 40 Invaders will fly into view from the left side of the screen in a square while rotating clockwise. Once you have fired off a shot at each of them to kill them ten more Type 38 Invaders, five more Type 39 Invaders and ten more Type 40 Invaders will fly into view off the right side of the screen in a square while rotating anticlockwise; once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them you will receive 100 points for every Type 40 Invader, 300 points for every Type 38 Invader and 500 points for every Type 39 Invader you killed (and the maximum is 34100, which is less than the maximum value for that previous bonus stage).

Stage 26[edit]

Akkanvader Stage 26.png

Once your two chosen ships have stopped their moving forward, a lot of Type 35, 36, 37, and 38 Invaders shall escort the world's Boss Invader up into view (from the bottom of the screen); they shall then all start flying around above you, while firing a hail of bullets (and fireballs) down at you. Once you have fired a shot at every one of the Type 35, 36, 37 and 38 Invaders to kill them, the background will fade out, as the Boss Invader turns into a pair of ghostly eyes (similar to those seen at the start of the world) - and a formation comprised of sixteen Original Large Invaders, sixteen Original Medium Invaders, and eight Original Small Invaders shall then appear up above you, then adopt a horizontally-moving formation as they descend towards the bottom of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all of them to kill them, the background shall fade back in (and the Boss Invader shall return to his original form), while a lot of additional Type 35 Invaders materialize in the centre of the screen to start flying round him as they fire another hail of bullets and fireballs down at you; once you have fired off a shot at every one of those additional Type 35 Invaders to kill them (and enough shots at the Boss Invader himself), he will explode and reveal himself to be a melon-like robot, then move horizontally down towards the bottom of the screen, while launching a hail of Type 42 Invaders down at you. Once you have fired enough shots at him to defeat him, he will explode, and you will receive 40000 points as your two chosen pilots speak the three-script text of Ore, obake ha nigatena nda yo nā... (オレ、おばけは苦手なんだよなぁ...) in the Japanese version - and you'll then go on to the fifth world, Mekameka Hoshi (メカメカ星) or Mother Star. This is the final world of the game, and as in Majestic Twelve, the invaders will be trying everything they can to ensure you can't win.

Note: If either, or both, of the players selects Benben and/or Penpen in both versions of the game, they will speak random toilet-related symbols instead of the standard phrases, and if either or both of the players selects Wanko and/or Nyanko in the Japanese version, they'll only speak the Hiragana texts of Wan (わん) and Nyan (にゃん), as they are Japanese onomatopoeia for barking and mewing; in the US version, where they were renamed to "Harry" and "Nancy" (the latter also becoming female), they'll only speak the texts "BOW" and "MEOW" instead, as they're English onomatopoeia for the same.
