Aliens versus Predator has three single-player campaigns, one for each species. Each has its own levels, but there are also bonus levels that allow access to portions of other species' missions. During the more three-dimensional Alien levels Marine and Predator players are supplied with a jet pack and grappling hook, respectively.
The campaigns can be played in any order; this walkthrough starts with the Alien campaign.
