A highly effective strategy is for defense to concentrate all but two Soldiers on to the Defense Hill. Those two will cover one objective each and act as a scout. Riflemen and Snipers are ideal; if the squad has enough Soldiers, then one Sniper Fire Team (Sniper and Rifleman) can cover each objective. Normally a single Rifle or Sniper is enough however.
The rest of the squad will act as reserve and suppress the smaller Assault Hill and Assault Road areas. If any enemies manage to get close to an objective the scout will communicate this to the rest of the squad. If the scout dies, likewise this will indicate to the rest of the squad that an objective is being approached. They can then defend the objective (either one) from the Defense Hill.
