Exploring Sender Station[edit]

Sender Station Station[edit]

Quest Updates
Find the ticket counter and take a shuttle from Sender Station to Sunder.
  • Once you get the tickets, you need to do the following to get on the Brain Train to Sunder:
    • Get past the security door at Gate 5.
    • Look more like scientists.
    • Get past the Brain Bouncer.
  • Get two tickets for the Sunder Shuttle, boarding at Gate 5.

Head through winding halls and enter into the terminal proper. Then head left into Gate 5 and talk to the guy, who tells you what you'll need to acquire to even get on the shuttle to Sunder. Proceed all the way down into the next room, then to the ticket window. Looks like you'll need to find another way to get your hands on some tickets.

You'll run into Detective Rukh again, who asks you to visit the Routubes. For the moment though, go out the door into the Commons Area.

Commons Area[edit]

First, head down left into the Theoretical Science Museum, and have PAL hack the dataport to download the TSM Database. Go back outside and continue around to the left. Talk to the guy in the "No Salt!" T-shirt near the ramp, who points you in the direction of a ticket scalper. Continue around, and into the Gold Deluxe Palatial Penthouse Suites (GDP). Downstairs, talk to the scientist on the left and pick up the Lovely Rose on the table. Exit, continue around, and talk to the guy in the shadows near the tree. He'll point you in the direction of another person.

Go back to the other side of the area and head up the ramps, the go left and into the Sendormitory.

Sendormitory[edit]

Inside, head into the left room and down the elevator. Find the scientist standing by his bed on the second level and give him a good Yammering for a Sunder Shuttle Ticket - one down, one to go. Before leaving, turn around and snap a photo of the Red Bipidri inside the rightmost bed on the upper level.

Back outside, continue left into the little park where the clown is. Talk to the kid there, who points you in the next direction for your second ticket. Talk to the woman as well and send her to the scientist in the GDP. Now step into the Vend-O-Mart.

Use the escalators and have Grumpos speak with the guy on the top floor for a Hexagonal Prism. Go back down, and head right into the Pay2Pray elevator. Talk to the robot on the right and have Grumpos meditate on both prisms to learn his StaffSweep and HealField skills. Afterwards, go back up and use the terminals to buy a Megalocephalic Wendy (unsure of it's use, if any) and a Pre-Owned Shieldcell for PAL. Now have him hack the left dataport for a Seamtech LabCoat ThreePack.

Head back outside, and around to the right. Talk to the guy in red at the end of the path, who directs you to the Routubes. Go into the Lounge of Commerce.

Lounge of Commerce[edit]

The guy with the TACO on the table rewards you for bringing him the TACOs you've collected (you should have enough to get a HealGrease Complete and 5 TimeMinder Tears). Buy a drink from the bartender (doesn't matter which, go with the cheapest), and she'll tell you to look up a friend of hers at the GDP. Then have Boots talk to David Salsa in the back area by the TimeMinder, who has a resistance mission for you. You can play a game of "Zong" at the game table if you'd like (again, no prizes).

Now head back to the GDP and talk to the scientist again to receive your second Sunder Shuttle Ticket as thanks. Go speak with the woman in the upper right on the couch. Return to the museum, go through into the display room, and talk to the Brebulan to the right. He'll send you back to Gate 2 in the terminal.

Once you arrive, talk to the robot there for the Certificate of Authenticity (it'll take a couple tries, and he'll give you a Wrinkled Dry Cleaning Bill by mistake at first), which you can take back to the woman for $50. Now it's time to head into the Upper Routubes, through the unmarked door at the top of the ramps.

Upper Routubes[edit]

Upon entering, note the Yellow Mound to the right of the ramp down. Continue on, and after your first enemy encounter, go to the upper left and hack the dataport. Grab the HealGrease on the right just before the door, and beefore the ramp in the next room, grab the Glodent on the right. Further down, you can find another HealGrease on the platform with the Pipe Mimics.

Further down still, you'll find the drug runner (with a Blue Mound close by). Buy the Soporific Wander Dust (Sleeping Draught) from him and continue on until you reach a dead end with a TimeMinder. Grab the Glodent and the Antiwinky Annulet on the beam behind it, photograph the Dead Body, and head back up to the Commons Area.

Leaving for Sunder[edit]

Stop by the Lounge of Commerce and talk to the goon at the bar, which you'll spike with that Sleeping Draught. Once he's out, you'll receive Shortie's Note to give to David Salsa (your next mission from him will be on Sunder). Finally, report back to Detective Rukh with the photo, and he'll reward you with an Annulet of Alertness.

You're now ready to leave Sender Station. Go back to Gate 5 and hack the dataport, make another archival save if you'd like, and go on through. During the following cutscene, both Boots and Grumpos will have to recite some scientific knowledge for the Brain Bouncer to pass. Select whatever combination of responses you want for Grumpos, and, thanks to PAL, do the same for Boots.

On to Sunder.
