This game has many different kinds of enemies that do not have an official name, and these enemies are not easy enough to be given a creative name so instead, their pictures will be provided for easier identification.

Enemies will be named and described based on what they do, how tough they are, and how fast they move around the screen.

2-shot hybrid rammer enemy[edit]

Astrobatics 2 shot rammer.png

This enemy will first fire 2 bullets for at least 3 - 4 times, then 3 bullets with moderate firing speed for another 3 - 4 times, if it still isn't destroyed after doing this it will fly away straight forward and if you are in the way and you got hit with this enemy while it is speeding away it could deal moderate damage, its bullets also deal moderate damage, the enemy itself has moderate durabilty and its speed first starts slow, then it gets faster while moving up and down in short distances, this indicates that the enemy is about to run away, and it is at its fastest when running away.

4-shot spread enemy[edit]

Astrobatics 4 shot spread enemy.png

What this enemy does it it arrives in either the top part or bottom part of the screen and fires 4 orange bullets in a spread fire manner with moderate firing speed, the damage the bullets do are not much but it could be distracting, this has moderate durability, and moves quite fast, they sometimes appear in boss battles to provide extra enemy firepower.

Straight 4-shot enemy[edit]

Astrobatics 4 straight shot enemy.jpg

What this enemy does is enter into the screen from any possible direction, they could either come straight, fly downwards, or fly upwards with slight diagonal turn, this enemy fires 4 straight orange bullets, the bullets don't do much damage but this enemy often comes in groups, so they may overwhelm you with their barrage of shots, they have moderate durability, their speed is slow.

Asteroid cannon[edit]

An asteroid cannon that can be found in asteroid missions, it has 3 variants and they all look different visually, but still attacks in the same way, this cannon cannot be hit with anything aside from Laser, Super-shot, or the player using the shield to be able to get into the indestructible asteroid and hit this cannon at the center, they fire single bullets directly at your ship that inflict moderate damage, the cannon has moderate firing speed, this is a stationary enemy and it has very low durability.

Asteroid flamethrower[edit]

A variant of the asteroid flamethrower that releases flames upward, downward, or both up and down when the ship gets close to its range, this enemy deals moderate damage and it has moderate firing speed, it has high durability but stationary, however at times this enemy can "come in" or be "deployed" into the screen during boss battles.

Bat-like enemy variant 1[edit]

Astrobatics batlike enemy1.jpg

What this enemy does is come behind your ship and fire green homing bullets, their bullets deal quite some damage if you get hit with it completely however the homing bullets will eventually dissipate on their own after a few seconds, they have moderate durability but once your rear cannon starts to ignite when hitting targets they should be destroyed easily along with Mines.

Bat-like enemy variant 2[edit]

Astrobatics batlike enemy2.jpg

What this enemy does is also fires 4 green bullets in spread fire fashion similar to the 4-shot spread enemy, however the difference is this enemy moves in moderate speed, often appearing by going straight at the front or coming from the top or bottom of your screen, their durability is high and their firing speed varies from mission to mission, like for example in Mission 1 their firing speed is moderate, but in Mission 15 they fire very fast.

Crab-like enemy[edit]

Astrobatics crablike enemy.jpg

This enemy does nothing else aside from entering the screen in very fast speeds, circling around in groups and then eventually leave, they do not fire any bullets and their durability is slow, ramming into them however is most likely not a good idea.

Dragon-like yellow colored enemy[edit]

Astrobatics dragonlike enemy1.jpg

This enemy ships often comes in groups and moves erratically, either immediately entering in clusters or they enter one by one eventually forming a group, they move erractically and they fire tiny yellow bullets with slow firing speed, however becausse they do this in the groups it will look like as if they fire rapidly all at once, their bullets don't do quite damage but their swarm of bullets could still overwhelm you, they have low durability but not as low as the Asteroid cannon.

Dragon-like red and blue enemy[edit]

This enemy can either be blue or red colored, the blue colored enemy will appear on the front while the red colored enemy will fire at the back, they fire violet/red colored bullets which travel slowly but directly at your ship, they have low durability but not as low as the Asteroid cannon, the red colored enemy will always travel somewhat slowly but the blue colored enemy can travel fast depending on the mission, for example in Mission 1 the blue colored enemy will move slowly, but in Mission 10 they can enter the screen very fast, they either come in groups quickly or one by one.

Fireball enemy[edit]

Astrobatics fireball enemy.jpg

This enemy fires fireballs that deal massive damage in 3 directions with slow firing speed, this enemy often comes in groups so while they have slow firing speed, this enemy can be quite overwhelming to fight with and this is also because it has high durability, so if your firepower is still weak you can shoot this enemy at close range to make sure all your shots hit, they travel slowly, and they always come from the front.

Formation enemy variant 1[edit]

Astrobatics formation enemy1.jpg

This enemy doesn't do much aside from going into formations such as moving along on an S pattern or going into both the top and bottom of your screen, this enemy can fire bullets and they may be overwhelming to deal with especially on Mission 2, however they have low durability, they are quite fast but they shouldn't be too hard to destroy, their bullets also don't do much damage on their own but it is still recommended to dodge.

Formation enemy variant 2[edit]

Astrobatics formation enemy2.png

This enemy doesn't do much aside from going into formations such as moving along on an S pattern, this enemy cannot fire bullets, they have low durability, they are quite fast but they shouldn't be too hard to destroy, they are seen in Mission 6 for example.

Frog enemy[edit]

This enemy doesn't do much aside from going into groups and move like as if its a frog, they can fire bullets but they usually don't, its speed varies from mission to mission, sometimes they move slowly but sometimes some move very fast, they always come in groups, this will come from the either the front or back of your ship which can be an issue as the rear cannon + Mines isn't good enough in handling groups.

Homing missile ship[edit]

Astrobatics homing missile ship.png

This enemy fires 2 green colored homing missiles while also shooting 2 green bullets that move fast, the missiles move quite slow but it can deal massive damage when taken at full blow, this ship has high durability but it moves quite slow, it often comes in twos or fours and appears in select missions.

Laser enemy[edit]

This enemy shoots lasers for 1 second with at least 1.25 seconds delay per laser, this enemy appears in select levels, it has low durability but it isn't way too soft, its lasers can inflict great damage if you get hit with it fully and directly, this enemy often arrives in groups, its speed varies on missions, sometimes it moves slowly and sometimes it moves fast, this enemy has 2 variants that most likely differ only in visual appearance, they do not appear in the same mission.

Mine dispenser[edit]

Astrobatics mine dispenser.png

This enemy appears in select missions, it is first introduced in Mission 9, it lays out red colored mines very fast so it must be destroyed as soon as you see it, the mines can be destroyed by Laser, Homing Missile, Super-shot, Mines (if you lay your mines really close to a red mine) and most likely a Shield too, the mines could deal some devastating damage if clusters of mines explode right next to you, but they are easy to clear off with a Super-shot from both of your turrets and your primary cannon, the Mine Dispensers also move fast so at least 2 of them can fill up almost the entire screen of mines that will be hard to clean as they are in random positions, but they have low durability, mines are easier to clear out when they are close to each other or in arranged clusters.

Power-up ship[edit]

Astrobatics powerup ship.jpg

This cannot even be considered an enemy at all because it doesn't fire anything or do anything except fly around on the screen waiting for you to destroy it, it will definitely hurt however if you accidently ram this ship, once destroyed it leaves a predetermined set of power-ups for that mission, it appears in almost all missions, the ship has low durability and somewhat moderate speed, if not destroyed for a few seconds after it appears it will fly away.

Rammer enemy variant 1[edit]

Astrobatics rammer enemy1.jpg

This enemy appears on select missions including Mission 1, it flies fast and it has low durability, what it does is directly fly into your ship with the intention to ram you, they are easy to destroy so this will never be able to successfully ram you unless you stop shooting, they appear in groups on both front and back of your ship depending on the mission.

Rammer enemy variant 2[edit]

Astrobatics rammer enemy2.png

This enemy appears on later missions, compared to variant 1 this enemy flies slow but it has high durability, it flies directly to your ship with the intention of directly ramming you and it when does, the damage will be extremely massive so make sure you won't let this enemy get close to you, it only appears in the front on groups thankfully but this is one of the most dangerous enemies so far if left unattended.

Rocket-like enemy[edit]

Astrobatics rocket enemy.jpg

This enemy first appears in Mission 4, they have low durability but they move really fast and in groups, they move in some sort of an S pattern one by one or they move along together slowly while firing for example, the bullets this enemy fires don't deal much damage, sometimes you may accidently ram into them because of how fast they move, but they shouldn't cause too much problems for you.

Cylindrical spinning ship[edit]

Astrobatics spinning brown enemy.jpg

This enemy appears in select levels starting from Mission 3, this enemy can appear from both front and back of your ship and they shoot orange homing bullets that will dissipate for a few seconds if it fails to hit you, this enemy has moderate durability and they can appear in either one by one or in groups, their speed is slow, and they sometimes reappear during boss battles to provide extra difficulty.

Turret variant 1 (Rocket)[edit]

Astrobatics turret1.jpg

This turret fires straight rockets travelling at fast speeds aimed directly at your ship, it is stationary, they have moderate durability and they can be placed on barriers too, their rockets don't do much damage but it could easily destroy your turrets, they fire at moderate speeds and they can be overwhelming if more than 2 of these turrets exist and fire at you altogether.

Turret variant 2 (Fireball)[edit]

Astrobatics turret2.jpg

This turret fires fireballs travelling at moderate speeds aimed directly at your ship, their firing speed is slow, but the fireballs inflict massive damage and it also has some sort of a short AOE radius upon exploding at your ship, for example your turrets take the full fireball shot you can still get some high damage from this shot, so if you see this turret destroy it as soon as you can, they are stationary, they have moderate durability, and this can be very dangerous when more than 2 Fireball turrets fires at you altogether

Turret variant 3 (Bullet)[edit]

Astrobatics turret3.jpg

This turret fires 2 orange pellets sometimes simultaneously or one by one aimed at your ship, the bullets don't do much damage but these turrets can fire very fast, it is stationary with low durability, this turret can also overwhelm you but it shouldn't give you too much problems.

Turret variant 4 (Flamethrower)[edit]

Astrobatics turret4.jpg

This turret releases flames upon your ship once you get close to its range, the flames vary in damage, for example if you take the full blow from this turret then you can receive some high damage, but if you react very quick and get out as soon as you get blown by this turret, the rear part of your ship will burn but you won't take much damage, it is stationary with moderate durability, this turret can overwhelm you but it shouldn't cause you too much problems.

Turret variant 5 (Homing missile)[edit]

Astrobatics turret5.png

This turret fires green colored homing missile one at a time, the homing missile travels slowly but it can deal some massive damage due to the missile having a hitbox, but its damage can be reduced or the missile itself can be destroyed by simply firing at it, this turret is stationary and it has low durability, this turret won't overwhelm you as long as you watch out for the missiles it fires.

Boss minion[edit]

Astrobatics boss minion.png

This enemy is produced by certain bosses as a means of trying to throw you off, what these enemies do is they directly approach you in an attempt to ram you, these enemies always come in swarms and they have above low durability but not enough to be considered moderate, they move quite fast and they won't stop until they hit you or they are destroyed.
