There are various techniques the player can learn how to perform, these aren't important but these will make the game easier and more manageable to play.

Laser panning[edit | edit source]

A technique which involves moving your ship to right or left then firing your Laser, doing this allows your Laser weapon to have better cyborg kill output, from just 1 column to 2 columns, a better but riskier variant of this technique is what I call the boosted laser panning, where you have to time the firing of your Laser opposite to where the cyborgs are moving around sideways, say for example when the cyborgs are moving to the left, you move to the right then fire your Laser, this will also extend your Laser to have more column coverage from 2 to 3 rows, rarely 4, but this is risky because you may get hit to your side while doing so.

Barrier shielding[edit | edit source]

A technique which involves staying at the bottom of your Barrier to protect yourself from not only shots, but also Fighter aggression, this is one of the most basic techniques that you will subconsciously do, but one thing you could do better is to use the barriers to protect yourself from Fighters, Fighters approach and ram you on whatever location you were when they have decided to do so, and predicting this properly will allow you to use your Barrier to protect yourself from Fighters.

Shot prediction[edit | edit source]

This technique involves making your shots more accurate by improving your prediction as to where your shot will hit, this technique is applicable to moving enemies, allowing your shots to hit more accurately, basically to do this, while the enemy is moving around the screen sideways, you aren't supposed to fire directly on its bottom as this will make your shot miss, instead, fire your shot a little more to whatever direction the enemy is going, for example if its going to the left, fire your shot just a few more ahead of the direction on where the enemy is going, this is also combined with other techniques here as well.

Shot reset/refresh[edit | edit source]

A technique which involves making your shot available to be fired again as soon as your shot is has been fired, also combined with shot prediction and rapid fire, to do this, you have to make sure that your shot will at least hit an enemy, once your shot has successfully hit an enemy or destroy, this will make your shot available to be fired again, as long as your shot won't miss, you can keep firing as fast as you can, if your shot however misses a target and doesn't hit anything, your next shot will be available once your previous shot has already left the screen.

Rapid fire[edit | edit source]

With the first technique mentioned, this will be further augmented when the enemy you are firing is closer to your ship, if that so happens, this will make you fire even faster as long as your shot hits a target, with this in mind, you can hold your fire button and fire fast, even faster when the target is closer with more consecutive hits, take note that this and shot reset/refresh doesn't need to destroy a target, as long as it hits something, you will be able to do this as many times as you like.
