Floor 37[edit]

Once Kissy has come down the pipe at the top-left of the floor, and landed on the platform that is connected to the left wall below him, start walking (and floating down) to the right as you come to two Efila on the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired shot at both of them to kill them, you must continue flying up to the left as you come up to a Tuning Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Tuning Octy himself to kill him, he will leave capsule behind - and you should remember that it will either contain a Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it, in case one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating back down (and flying back up) to the right as you come to a Gilly Octy and a Shell Octy (the latter of whom is facing towards you) who are firing projectiles at you, while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla they have spawned to kill them and enough shots at both of the Octy themselves to kill them, they will leave two more capsules behind. Again they will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsules while opening them in case a second or third one comes bursting out of them, and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what these capsules contained, you must now continue floating down to the right as you come to a third Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue floating down to the left through an invisible hole in a wall as you come to a fourth Efila on the ceiling who is firing projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you will come to a Winky Octy who is afiring projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla - and once you have fired a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Winky Octy himself to kill him, he will aleave a fourth capsule behind. Once again, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann; so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case fourth one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating downwad to the left through another invisible hole in the wall, as you come to a fifth Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue flying up to the right, as you come to Dropping Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Dropping Octy himself to kill him (but you really should remember that they cannot be hit while they are in their crouching position) he will leave a fifth capsule behind; yet again, this will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case fifth one comes abursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating back down to the right as you come to two more Efila on the ceiling who are aspitting projectiles at you - and once you have fired shot at both of them to kill them and landed on the ground, you will come to two more Efila on the ceiling spitting projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, you must continue flying up to the right, as you come to a tenth Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you will come to another Shell Octy and another Gilly Octy (the former of whom is facing towards you) who are firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla they have spawned to kill them, and enough shots at both of the Octy themselves to kill them, they will leave two more capsules behind - and for a fifth time, they will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsules while opening them, in case a sixth or seventh one comes bursting out of them and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what these capsules contained, you must now continue floating back down to the left as you'll come to an eleventh Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue flying up to the right as you come to second Winky Octy and another Dropping Octy, who are firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired off shot at all the Blanula and Skifla they have spawned to kill them, and enough shots at both of the Octy themselves to kill them (but you should again remember that the Dropping Octy cannot be hit while they are in their crouching positions), they will leave two more capsules behind - and for sixth time, they will contain either: another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of these capsules while opening them in case an eighth or ninth one comes bursting out of them, and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what these capsules contained, you will now have to go down either of the two open pipes at the bottom-left and bottom-right of the floor in order to proceed onto the next floor; once you have done so, you will receive 100 bonus points for every shield you have remaining (and you will also have to watch out for Kyoters and Vacance Pores during this floor - and especially the latters again)...

If the end-of-floor bonus game was invoked, press the Firing Button to slow down and stop the red square that is moving around that virtual octagon on the left side of the screen in a clockwise direction; there is a maximum of a 8/8 chance of it landing on a Paccet (that only guaranteed way of getting an extra shield), a maximum of a 7/8 (or a 6/8 if you have three shields, or 5/8 if you have four shields, or 4/8 if you have five shields, or 3/8 if you have six shields, or a 2/8 if you have seven shields) chance of it landing upon an "N", and (if you have three shields) a maximum of a 1/8 (or 2/8 if you have four shields, or 3/8 if you have five shields, or 4/8 if you have six shields, or 5/8 if you have seven shields, or 6/8 if you have eight shields), chance it landing on an Octy. Now, it's on to Floor 38 - which features no previously unseen enemies whatsoever, but may still remind you of something as you explore it.

Floor 38[edit]

Once Kissy (or Takky if it's a two-player game) has come down the pipe at the top-left of the floor and landed on the platform that is connected to the left wall below him, the Winky Octy in front of him will start firing projectiles at him while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired off a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at the Winky Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a capsule behind. Remember that it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue aflying up to the right as you come to an Efila on the ceiling, who is spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you will have to fly through an invisible hole in the platform above you, as you come to another Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you will come to a Tuning Octy, who is firing projectiles at you in three directions, while spawning Blanula and Skifla - and once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at the Tuning Octy himself to kill him, he will leave another capsule behind. Again, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or Bagann; so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case another one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now floating back down to the left as you come to two more Efila on the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, you will come to another Tuning Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at that Tuning Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a third capsule behind - and once again, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it, in case third one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what the capsule containd, you must now continue floating back down to the left as you come to a Dropping Octy and a Gilly Octy who are firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla they have spawned to kill them, and enough shots at both of the Octy themselves to kill them (but you should remember that all the Dropping Octy cannot be hit while they're in their crouching position), they will leave two more capsules behind. Yet again, they will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsules while opening them, in case a fourth or fifth one comes bursting out of them and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what these capsules contained, you must now continue flying up to the right, as you come to two more Efila on the ceiling, spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, you must continue floating back down to the left, as you come to three more Efila on the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you. Once you have fired shot at each of them to kill them and landed upon the ground, you will come to a Shell Octy (who is facing towards you) and a Gilly Octy who are firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla - and once you have fired off a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla they have spawned to kill them and enough shots at both of the Octy themselves to kill them, they will leave two more capsules behind. For fifth time, they will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or Bagann; so you may not wish to stand directly in front the capsules while opening them, in case sixth or seventh one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what these capsules contained, you must now continue flying up to the right as you come to a tenth Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you - and once you've fired off shot at him to kill him, you will have to go down either of those two open pipes at the bottom-left and bottom-right of the floor, in order to proceed to the next floor. Once you have done so, you will receive 100 bonus points for every shield you have remaining (and you will also have to watch out for Polycators during this floor - which also looked somewhat like a maze from Namco's own Puckman).

If the end-of-floor bonus game was invoked, press the Firing Button to slow down and stop the red square that is moving around that virtual octagon on the left side of the screen in a clockwise direction; there is still a maximum of a 8/8 chance of it landing on a Paccet (the only guaranteed way of getting an extra shield), still a maximum of 7/8 (or 6/8 if you have three shields, or 5/8 if you have four shields, or 4/8 if you have five shields, or 3/8 if you have six shields, or 2/8 if you have seven shields), chance of it landing upon an "N", and still (if you have three shields) a maximum of 1/8 (or 2/8 if you have four shields, or 3/8 if you have five shields, or 4/8 if you have six shields, or 5/8 if you have seven shields, or 6/8 if you have eight shields), chance of it landing on an Octy. Now it's on to Floor 39 - which features no previously unseen enemies but will definitely remind you of something as you explore it.

Floor 39[edit]

Once Kissy has come down the pipe at the top of the floor and landed on the platform below him, a Shell Octy in front of him (who is facing towards him) will start firing projectiles at him while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired off shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at that Shell Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a capsule behind. Remember that this will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in the capsule while opening it in case one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating down to the left as you come to a Gilly Octy who is afiring projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired off shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Gilly Octy himself to kill him, he will leave another capsule behind. And again, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case a second one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue flying up to the left as you come up to a Dropping Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Dropping Octy himself to kill him (but you should remember that they cannot be hit while they are in their crouching position), he will leave a third capsule behind. Once again, this will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case third one comes bursting out and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule had contained, you must now continue floating down to the left as you come up to a Tuning Octy who is firing projectiles at you in three directions while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at the Tuning Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a fourth capsule behind. Yet again, this will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case fourth one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule had contained, you must now continue floating down to the right as you come up to Winky Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired off shot at all of those Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at the Winky Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a fifth capsule behind. For fifth time, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it, in case a fifth one comes bursting out of it and starts achasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating down to the right, as you come up to another Dropping Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Dropping Octy himself to kill him (but you should again remember that they cannot be hit while they are in their crouching position), he will leave a sixth capsule behind. For sixth time, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case a sixth one comes bursting out it, and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule had contained, you must now continue flying up to the right as you come to another Tuning Octy who is firing projectiles at you in three directions while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Tuning Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a seventh capsule behind. For a seventh time, it will contain either: another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it, in case a seventh one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you will now have to go down the pipe at the bottom of the floor in order to proceed to the next floor; for once you have done so, you will receive 100 bonus points for every shield you have remaining (and you will also have to watch out for Leap Baganns and Type 1 Snipers during this floor - which did indeed look like the maze from the original Puckman, and had four extra capsules in the corners to represent the power pellets. The Gilly Octy was also sat in the ghost regenerator, and the two Tuning Octy in the warp tunnels. And of course, the Baganns resemble an evil purple version of Namco's signature character).

Now it's on to Floor 40 - which features no previously unseen enemies but will not remind you of anything as you explore this time.

Floor 40[edit]

Once Kissy (or Takky if it's a two-player game) has come down the pipe at the top-left of the floor and landed on the platform that is connected to the left wall below him, an Efila on the ceiling will start spitting projectiles at him; once you have flown up to his level, and fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue flying up to the right as you come to a Gilly Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired off shot at all of the Blanula and Skifla he's spawned to kill them, and enough shots at that Gilly Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a capsule behind - and you should remember that it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it, in case one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating down to the left as you come up to another Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue floating down to the right as you come to a third Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue floating back down to the left, as you come to two more Efila on the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, you must continue flying up to the right, as you come to a Winky Octy, who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at the Winky Octy himself to kill him, he will leave another capsule behind; again, this will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it in case another one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating back down to the right as you come to a sixth Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at him to kill him, you must continue flying back up to the right as you come to two more Efila on the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, you will come up to Tuning Octy, who is firing projectiles at you in three directions, while spawning Blanula and Skifla; once you have fired off a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Tuning Octy himself to kill him he will leave a third capsule behind. Once again, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann - so you may not wish to stand directly in front of this capsule while opening it, in case a third one comes bursting out of it and starts chasing after you. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue floating back down to the right, as you come to three more Efila on the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at all of them to kill them, you will come to a Shell Octy (who is facing towards you) while firing projectiles at you and spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them, and enough shots at that Shell Octy himself to kill him, he will leave a fourth capsule behind - and yet again, it will contain either: another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue flying up to the right as you come up to a Dropping Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla. Once you have fired off shot at all of the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Dropping Octy himself to kill him (but you should remember that they cannot be hit while they are in their crouching position), he will leave a fifth capsule behind - and for a fifth time, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun, or a Bagann, so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it. But regardless of what this capsule contained, you must now continue flying up to the right as you come to three more Efila upon the ceiling who are spitting projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at all of them to kill them, you will come to fifteenth Efila on the ceiling who is spitting projectiles at you. Once you have fired shot at him to kill him, you will come to another Winky Octy who is firing projectiles at you while spawning Blanula and Skifla - and once you have fired shot at all the Blanula and Skifla he has spawned to kill them and enough shots at the Winky Octy himself to kill him, he'll leave a sixth capsule behind. For a sixth time, it will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or Bagann; so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsule while opening it. But regardless of what the capsule contained, you must now continue floating down to left as you come up to second Gilly Octy and second Tuning Octy who are firing projectiles at you (the Tuning Octy will be firing them in three directions), while spawning Blanula and Skifla - and once you have fired off a shot at all the Blanula and Skifla they have spawned to kill them and enough shots at both of the Octy themselves to kill them, they will leave two more capsules behind. For a seventh time, they will contain either another Paccet, a Jewel, a Ray Gun or a Bagann; so you may not wish to stand directly in front of the capsules while opening them. But regardless of what the capsules contained, you will now have to go down the pipe at the bottom-right of the floor, to proceed to the next floor; once you've done so, you will receive 100 bonus points for every shield you have remaining (and you will also have to watch out for Polycators and Leap Baganns during this floor, especially as this is the fourth floor where the latter could appear)...

Now it's on to Floor 41 - which could see the appearance of the game's seventh, and penultimate, bonus character [the Eggplant]).

Floor 41[edit]

Once Kissy has come down that pipe at the top-left of the floor, you will, for a seventh (and penultimate) time, notice that there are no Octy on this floor because it is the equivalent of a "bonus collection stage"; there are a total of twelve capsules arranged in four diagonal lines (the north-east/south-west, north-west/south-east, south-east/north-west, and south-west/north-east) and a rhombus-like shape above the already-open pipe at the bottom-right of the floor, and they will most likely contain other Paccets, Jewels, or Ray Guns. However, you still cannot rule out that possibility of these not containing Baganns - so if one comes bursting out of one of them, and starts achasing after you, you should immediately go down that aforementioned pipe at the bottom-right of the floor, in order to proceed to the next game floor. Once you have done so, you will receive 100 bonus points for every shield you have remaining (and you will also have to watch out for minor enemies during this floor; however, if a Vacance Pore should come flying towards Kissy and he manages to kill it, it will cause the game's seventh bonus character [the Eggplant] to drop down from the top of the screen. Catch it as it falls if you can).

Now it's on to Floor 42 - which is seventh boss floor of game, but the boss is not a fourth Turning Eye (for those who'd thought so).

Floor 42[edit]

Once Kissy (or Takky if it is a two-player game) has come down the pipe up at the top of the floor, the fourth Blue Worm will start advancing towards him while firing projectiles at him from his four enormous eyes; for a seventh (and penultimate) time, if you have any Paccets remaining at this point, they will appear above your spaceman's head and throw themselves at the Blue Worm to stun him for a few seconds. You should remember from the encounters with the first, second, and third Blue Worms, that once he has your spaceman trapped against that left wall, he will stop advancing - and that each of his aforementioned eyes takes eight hits to destroy. Once you have fired enough shots at each of his eyes to destroy them, he will emit the scream of death and explode; you can now go down the pipe at the bottom of the floor in order to proceed to the eighth (and final) world of this game. And once you have done so, you receive 100 bonus points for every shield you have remaining (but the end-of-floor bonus game will, for seventh time, not be invoked here).
