Purchasing Cards[edit]

Cards may either be purchased by auction, by booster packs, or by trading in the marketplace. If you are playing the Free2Play version, you cannot sell cards to other players until you achieve a minimum rank.

Regular cards are placed directly in the collection. They can be traded to other players or for other tasks as well. An 8-pack of cards is worth 250 BattleForge points, which are obtained by purchasing by a credit card or retail scratch card.

Cards purchased as a Tome are included in their own set, and can be used in a Tome deck. While they may be mixed with cards in the regular deck, you cannot use them to upgrade your existing cards or trade them to other players. After a limited time, the tome will expire, and they will be transferred to your regular collection (where they may be traded freely.)
