Starting area[edit]

The first objective is to defeat the Twilight Devistator at the beginning. Given that the allied soldiers respawn constantly, there is almost no reason to use melee attacks on the first monster. However, they will not die unless you join the combat.

Next, you need to defeat two sets of twilight archers just to the east. When they are attacked, half-health twilight minions and a twilight brute approach from the north. Finally, you need to defeat two twilight brutes.

Corrupted Settlement[edit]

By now, you should have claimed the power well to the west and the first orb.

The Settlement contains three power wells and one monument.

Old town[edit]

Your next objective is to clear out the old town to the north. Depending on how you want to play the next section, you can either build a strong defense, or summon enough troops to clean out the northern area. Note that defensive play is extremely difficult using standard stock cards.

If you want to press the attack, try to hit your unit limit.Your first obstacle is the large twilight hulk patrolling the southern area, which can attack flying creatures with its melee attack. If you can provoke it into approaching, try to have it distracted with melee units (or units immune to knockback), while you use all other ranged units to take out that enemy. Once the hulk is destroyed, advance your troops to the center hill to claim the next monolith. Clear out the rest of north-east area to proceed to the final section.

If you want to play defensively, you will want your most powerful infantry archers on the wall, backed with the most powerful artillery you have access to. If necessary, hit any high-profile tarWhen the defense is set up, activate the Amil Screaming Stone to attract not only the existing twilight units on the map, but additional units that are created as soon as you use the stone. If you are able to hold out against the onslaught, then the final section is opened and the twilight is removed from the old town.

Wraithgazer[edit]

There is a corrupted Wraithgazer in the northwest of the map. When it sees you, it will start the attack. It's primary means to defeat you is a disintegrating gaze that paralyzes a unit before instantly killing it. In addition, it will absorb spirits that approach, to gain power.

While you can destroy or knock back the spirits, there is no need to do so. If you hit the unit limit within the mission, you should have no trouble slaying the gazer.
