Battlefield 1942 is a first-person shooter based upon the events and theaters of World War II. The game engine may lack the realism of newer first person shooters, but the overall gameplay, weapons choices, and large selection of usable vehicles makes this game a classic that can be enjoyed again and again.
Mods[edit | edit source]
The fun doesn't end with the original Battlefield 1942 game, since there are various mods and expansions available. These additions build upon the BF1942 game engine and add a greater variety of maps, weapons, and vehicles to enhance further gameplay.
