Commander, we've received an unusual request from the Aquarian Science Forum. There's a Colonial ship in orbit they want removed.
The research vessel was working on a new plating repair technology. The project got Cylon interest, and the research group was forced to abandon the asset and its crew.
There hasn't been much Cylon activity in the area other than that. However, Aquaria wants both Cylon AND Colonial Fleet presence minimized while they prepare for the Kyros Summerfest.
The Forum said we can take the ship and any tech we find on it, as long as we also take the Cylons with us. Whether it's actually theirs to give away is another matter...
The Celestra starts some distance off. Give it Viper protection as quickly as possible.

Before you begin, try to have a 3500-4000 point fleet equipped with a couple missiles. Adamants and, if you've unlocked it, the Artemis, will prove useful here.

Your protection objective is the Celestra, a fleet support ship some distance away from your own fleet. Start by getting it into formation with your own fleet. Around it include a Research Station and many non-objective satellites - these objects can be ignored.

The enemy Talon will launch a wing of Raiders against the Celestra. Launch your own Vipers upon mission start and send them to defend the Celestra. Keep your own fleet together; you won't be facing enemy missile barrages, so you can freely use your Vipers to attack enemies. The Celestra is rather heavily armoured, but has no defences on its own - the faster your merge your fleets, the better.

Focus down the Revenants.

Once the Celestra is closer to your fleet, you can start using its special drone ability to deploy additional armour plating for your ships. Use this as a damage buffer, and target each of your ships in turn.

Target the two Revenants, keeping your fleet together and using Focus Fire to destroy each in turn. Either torpedoes or missiles will help against the slow-moving Revenants.

After Turn 3, two additional enemy forces will jump in - a Cerastes and a Talon. They will appear a short distance behind the Celestra, but if you've kept the Celestra moving neither should be a threat to you. After dealing with the two Revenants, target the Cerastes and finally the Talons.

The mission concludes when all enemy forces are sunk and the Celestra remains intact.
