Complete Chapter 7.
Chatter amongst Cottle's crew says they still can't pin down exactly what the Cylons used in these attacks.
I think the Cylons explicitly targeted Sagittaron because they expect Colonial Fleet to hesitate before breaking the embargo. They won't expect a quick retaliation.
Adjunct ruling on a confiscation operation made it through Quorum twenty minutes ago. We've got the green light from Cain to enter Sagittaron space to retrieve samples of the chemicals used in the attacks.
All we've got to do now is jump inside the Sagittaron border, hijack the Cylon chemical weapons, and get out before we cause a political disaster. Easy.

It is recommended you take this mission on using a 5000-6000 point fleet. Sinon will comment that these are the ships you're looking for, and to destroy all of them. One of the enemy ships starts immediately in front of you. Deploy your fighters; you'll soon be up against large enemy missile barrages.

The Cylon fleet will consist of Arachnes, and are roughly equivalent to your Adamants in terms of being multipurpose vessels. The enemy forces are spread out; focus each target down in turn using missiles. Behind the initial enemy Arachne is an enemy Nemesis, followed by another Arachne and two Revenants. The Arachnes are the easier targets.

Around Turn 3, Markus Thoon of the Sagittaron Democratic Union will appear and taunt you. Appearing on the far edge of the map, you'll have time to work your way up to sinking these ships. Fortunately, the SDU ships will attack the Cylons, leaving the Cylons caught in between your forces and the SDU.

By the time you finish mopping up the Cylon fleet, the SDU ships should be quite weakened. Finish off the SDU forces to complete the mission.
